Intro

Your Choice Movies is up for review today, and the idea here is to offer up some homemade-type videos, supposedly submitted by real housewives, girlfriends, etc. Basically it's a hardcore site with amateurish content, which can be fun if they find some cute girls. They give a lot of little previews in their tour of what they offer, so it's probably worth a look to go check it all out. The scenes vary quite a bit from one to the next, which makes exclusivity hard to judge on my end. For what it's worth, they advertise all exclusive content, so hopefully that's the case. You can join this particular site for $30, or their whole network for $50 a month, which is quite high.

The Pros

Amateur scenes are a bit unique.

I wouldn't call them groundbreaking, but it's different porn than you see on the majority of sites at least. They look like real people, having real sex, and it can be real fun at times.

Search is nice to have.

It's a little basic, but I appreciated having even a simple search to find some specific categories for their content. It helps narrow things down and find you what you're looking for.

Other Good Stuff:

There are a couple of different video options. Downloads include WMV in two quality options, or small clips of MPG or iPod/iPhone. There's also a non-streaming Flash version that plays in your browser.
With 126 scenes online currently, it's not too small of a site at least. I'd love to see even more content, but you won't get bored after just 10 minutes here either.
I love how fast the downloads come here. When using a download manager, they go above and beyond our theoretical maximum, which makes for some speedy video downloads.

The Cons

Quality could be better.

The specs on the videos are okay here, but I think the whole homemade feel of the site offers up some videos that are granier than usual. Lighting could be a culprit if you ask me. Either way, I think the quality is a bit below what you're used to seeing, though not too much.

No streaming video offered.

Their Flash video seems like it's streaming, but it's just an in-browser video basically. You can't jump around in the movie right away, though you can always jump back to the earlier parts once they've downloaded.

Network option is very expensive.

They're one of the few companies that don't offer network access as a standard addition to their site membership. Instead, you have to pay $50 a month to join the network, which is just a lot of cash to spend on porn.

Update dates are hard to find.

For the longest time, I thought they didn't list an update schedule. You can click all the way through to some content, and still not know when it was added. However, if you hit the link to the archives, you'll see they add something new weekly.

Minor Negatives:

The design could be updated in my opinion. It's just very simple, and feels a bit plain overall.
They don't have any photos at all here, except for the vidcaps of course.

Bottom Line

It's not bad, but there's some definite room for improvement.

Overall, it's a whole lot of average for me here at Your Choice Movies. Nothing stands out as too great, and there are a few too many changes needed for my liking. The quality is a little below average, and the price can get a bit high, especially if you want network access. There's potential, as the scenes can be fun at times, but I'd really love to see a few changes here. You do at least get an okay amount of content, and regular updates.
