  Videos are streaming-only.

Boo! I get that their content is special and they need to protect it, but most people go to DVD sites assuming that downloads will be offered. That's not the case here at all, as nothing is available for download unfortunately.

  Streaming player isn't that great.

If you're going to offer only streaming videos, make your streaming player freaking awesome. That didn't quite happen here. The videos can look decent, and they usually buffer pretty quick, but they need more features. These movies are over two hours long, and there are markings or clues as to where you are in the videos (thankfully you can watch one scene at a time if you wish). I'd love some filmstrip navigation, maybe another streaming player type (WMV? Silverlight?), etc.

  Navigation needs work.

Most DVD sites have a pretty solid category and search setup to help you narrow things down. Here, they offer a list of models, a list of new DVDs, and a simple search box, but that's it. When you use the search box or find a video, you'll see that they're tagged, but why not put all the tags into a master advanced search setup?

Minor Negatives:

• Just as you can't download the videos, you can't download the photos here either without some fancy trickery.
• The updates and content are not dated here at all that I can see. We estimate that they put up several DVDs each month, but a date or two would really help.
• The photos are quite small here all considered. I can't download them, so I can't get a sure size, but they look to be in the 800x600 range for the newest stuff. The older ones are smaller yet.
• Once you get to the older content (or newer scenes without HD for whatever reason), the quality takes a huge nosedive unfortunately. I'd venture to say that the HD videos are the only ones worth checking out.
• There are quite a few little banners, icons, and ads around that definitely detract from the overall feel of the site.
