Intro

Broke and Horny is a gay niche site that actually falls into the sub-category of straight guys going gay. That's a popular theme amoung gay sites and it's one that this site is geared towards. The guest tour has some samples of different shoots along with in-browser video previews which gives guests a decent feel for the type of content featured.

The Pros

Solo & Guy/Guy Hardcore Shoots, Mostly Latin Models.

The collection here is pretty well balanced in a couple of ways. The total number of picture galleries and videos are roughly the same so there is a nice mix of those. Also, the action features solo guy masturbation scenes along with guy/guy hardcore plus some threesome action as well. The majority of the guys seem to be South American so you get that angle as well along with some foreign languages in the shoots.

Full-Shoot WMV & MP4 Formats, Flash Streaming.

The specs on these movies are run-of-the-mill. There aren't any quality level options on the different formats and there is definitely room for improvement in this area. The quality of the pictures is a bit better than the videos as most images are fairly large.

Lower Quality MPEGs on Older Episodes.

Back in the archives the older movie entries have MPEG format along with the Flash streaming. The good news is that they're still full-episode files. No MP4 format is offered on these older shoots.

No Niche Breakdown in Photo/Video Sections.

The sorting options in the picture and movie sections are basic with chronological, model name, and popularity choices. There is no way to filter/sort by type of action (like solo or hardcore) or model appearance (country of origin, hair color, etc).

Minor Negatives:

No model index is available and the model info relies on shoot summaries which vary from shoot to shoot.
The picture galleries have no zip files and only one quality option.

Bottom Line

Original solo & guy/guy hardcore content with full-video downloadable files.

Broke and Horny has the type of collection that I expected. One of the main aspects of the action is that the majority of guys are Latin American. What you'll find in the member's area is a mix of solo and hardcore shoots in both picture galleries and videos. While the update pace isn't rip-roaring they do seem to be steadily growing the site. Where there is room for improvement is in the video quality and navigation areas.
