Rap Video Auditions

  Small Number of Total Episodes, Just a Few Dozen Total.

Generally on a site like this I'd like to see about two or three times the amount of content as is available here. It really is a small sized collection that leans on the larger included network to make up for the lack of quantity. Often I like to look at a network site an analyze as to whether it would do okay on its own and Rap Video doesn't really have enough episodes to function well as a standalone entity.

  No Recent Updates, Content Count Hasn't Changed in Some Time.

This is one of those sites that keeps things fresh by having the dates on the episode current but they aren't really adding updates. It seems the site will remain as-is and it'll remain one component in the larger company network. I've been aware of this site for many years now and the update dates on the oldest shoots don't correspond to how long they've been online. Having reviewed the site more than once I know that the content is no longer changing.

Minor Negatives:

• I didn't see any way to view the video with Flash streaming. Other network sites have this features but it wasn't available here.
• Log-in system is pretty complex. It requires entry of a username, password, PIN, and security code.
• The file size infomation on the videos doesn't seem to match up with actual sizes.
• There are some upsells in the member's area.
