Intro

As the title suggests Bikini Dare is a softcore bikini focused site. Most of the content is with the girls in very revealing bikinis and there is some nudity however this site is definitely a very softcore collection. The guest tour is actually quite informative since the layout and navigation tools there are almost exactly the same to what's in the member's area. Visitors can jump around the model list and individual pages to see all the shoots that are available.

The Pros

Sizable Collection of Both Pictures & Videos, Years of Archives.

Bikini Dare has shoots dating back to 2002 so they have build up quite a database of content. Both the numbers of photo galleries and videos are impressive so quantity is a notable positive here. I also like the balance as most models or special shoot locations have a nice mix of both galleries and videos available. Updates are a mix of both pics and vids so that's good to see as well.

High-Resolution Content, Full-Video Downloads & Gallery Zips.

Content quality is high with high-resolution pictures at 1500x1000 pixels and videos in WMV format at 3500k 1280x720. These are the specs on newer content items. Actually the photos don't see much of a drop-off in terms of the older content as those pics are high-res too at around 1280x850 pixels with sharp/clear images. Zip files are a consistent option for all the gallery sets.

Other Good Stuff:

Galleries/videos are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site.
The members's area design is clean and simple with a model index and update calendar.
The foreign models and exotic shoot locations may be of particular interest to some sufers.

The Cons

Download Speed is Fairly Slow thru Browser & Download Mangers.

The download speed is slower than average for a paysite. On my high speed connection I was getting rates of 200-300KB/sec for browser downloading and 400KB/sec using IDM download manager. The average file size for the movies is about 75-100MB so download times can be a little long.

Older Videos Don't Have High-Res WMV Format Available.

More than the pictures the video have a distinct difference between the formats on the newer movies and the older ones. Only AVI format is available on the older videos and the specs on those varies. A couple I noted were 700x400 and 400x320. So the consistency in terms of quality and formatting is less on the videos than it is in the pictures.

Minor Negatives:

The downloadable movie files do not have any file size information posted.
Some model info is shown however they don't provide the country of origin for most models which would have been helpful.
Price is in Euros which makes it more expensive when converted to US Dollars.

Bottom Line

Lots of softcore bikini content with high-resolution pictures & videos.

Bikini Dare does well in terms of both sheer quantity of content and the pic/vid quality. They've been around for years and continue to build on their already large collection. The negatives are smaller things like slow download speed, lower quality older videos, and the lack of model info. Overall this is a quality collection for surfers looking for sexy models in softcore bikini shoots with a mix of solo and group model shoots.
