Intro

Johnny Rebel is up for review today, and Johnny is basically a jack of all trades when it comes to porn. He shoots it, he video tapes it, and he'll star in it as well. This is hit site where you get to see what he's up to, and what kind of chicks he's banging. The site actually features a pretty wide range of content that goes from solo, to lesbians, to hardcore, to group sex. I guess there's a little something for everybody here. Membership is $20 a month, which isn't too bad overall I guess.

The Pros

Tons of content up.

I guess the site has been online since 2002, which explains how it got so big. There are almost 2,800 photo galleries, and over 750 videos online currently, which is a lot to see for this type of site.

Search feature is good.

I like the search page they have setup here. You can choose any number of options that they have available, and it'll tell you in real time exactly how many results you'll get back. It helps filter this large collection down pretty nicely.

Updates come often.

Their photo section updates daily here, and often with more than one set. The video section adds something new a couple times per week, which is good to see as well. Keep those numbers going up!

Other Good Stuff:

They have a pretty wide variety of content, as I mentioned in the intro. There's everything from solo to group sex, plus auditions and behind the scenes clips.
The site is pretty clean and looks decent. It just goes to show that you don't need terribly fancy graphics to make a site look good. Just two hot chicks making out and more.

The Cons

Quality needs work overall.

For some reason, a lot of their videos are only offered up to 750k instead of the better 2000k version. I thought it was just the newer vs. older material, but that's not really the case. I have no idea why they'd put up videos right now with the lower spec, but they do, and they don't look that great.

Downloads are pretty slow.

I was getting about 1/4 of our average speed, and about 1/7 of the top speed we can get with a download manager. Speaking of download managers, the software works, but barely. You can't pause or resume the download, and they only allow one download at a time unfortunately. Videos took 20-30 minutes to download, which is just too long.

Minor Negatives:

The video counter is off. They have 759 videos currently, but as you browse through the pages, the text that says "showing videos 1-8" isn't correct. They actually have 12 videos per page, not 8, and it messes it all up.
The people who run the site let us know that the content isn't actually exclusive, which is a bummer to hear. The pictures are obviously non-exclusive, but the videos look original to me.
You have to enter your user/pass twice to get inside, which is just a little annoying to me.
Only WMV videos are offered, without any streaming options either. There are several quality options, however.

Bottom Line

An interesting mix with fun scenes, and a lot to see.

Johnny Rebel's site is a bit up and down for me overall. I like all the content there is to see, the frequent updates, and the fun scenes that can be found. There are also some good options for finding content at times. However, there aren't many video choices, at least some of the content isn't exclusive, and the quality could generally be better. I guess in the end, it just never wow'd me, though it has some good things going for it. Check out the tour to see if you like the content you see, and that should probably help lead you in the right direction.
