Yappo.com is a pay per view video site offering “Adult Movies on Your Terms.” They’ve got a huge collection of titles from every major star and studio out there. Their entire collection is browsable before you sign up, so it’s easy to take a quick look and see if Yappo has what you’re looking for, and they probably do. The one major consideration, however, is that all of the content is pay per view which certainly has its positive and negative points.
The Goods –
We’ve seen some big ppv sites, but Yappo puts many of them to shame. They currently have over 32,000 movies available, a simply massive collection. Every major category is here filled with movies from over 750 studios. Hundreds (maybe over thousand, I sure didn’t count) of performers are listed covering just about every interest you might have. You should be able to find whatever you’re looking for on Yappo.
Video quality is very good. The movies come with five quality settings, the highest labeled H.D. which plays at 2000k. The scenes are very sharp and can easily be enjoyed at full screen.
The site design is clean and it’s very easy to get around. You can browse the collection by star, studio, or niche, and there’s an advanced search that lets you view by length, director, and description. There are a few ways to sort the scenes along with some handy user features like a favorites folder and a history of movies you’ve watched in case you’re trying to remember what that nasty ATM movie you watched last week was called. I had no trouble getting around this large site.
The Bads –
As with all pay per view sites, costs can add up quick. Their basic price starts at $4.83 for 25 minutes, or 19 cents a minute (though if you buy in bulk you can get it down to 8 or 10 cents a minute), which is an average price for a ppv site. It just gets expensive fast. At best, you’re spending $10 to watch one entire DVD. There are plenty of DVD archive sites offering hundreds of DVDs for not much more than that a month. PPV systems are good if you’re looking for specific titles but not so much for general viewing.
You can’t download and keep any of the movies here. The primary method of viewing is simply streaming so once you’ve seen it once, you have to pay to see it again. There is also an option to download a movie for 7 or 30 days, but after the time period expires so does your access to it. You won’t be building any personal video archives on this site and this kind of limitation holds them back.
Conclusion –
As far as pay per view video sites go, Yappo offers a nicely put together, huge collection of just about any porn title you can think of. The drawbacks are much the same as you’d find on any ppv site, that it can be expensive and that you can’t keep the movies. Against other DVD archive sites, those can really hurt. However, compared to other on demand sites, Yappo definitely deserves a look.

It's been seven months since our last visit to Yappo, and with 40 videos added every day, you can bet that this huge site has grown a lot since our last visit. The number of videos here is just unreal. There are over 9,400 movies in the Anal category alone! Of course, it'll cost you big bucks to enjoy even a fraction of their collection, with the PPV set-up. Still, their high quality flicks just might be worth it. If you've got something specific in mind, or are just looking for a couple movies and not a download frenzy, I can certainly recommend Yappo. Odds are, they've got what you're looking for.
