The XXX Home Video Network calls itself “The World’s Largest Collection of Genuine XXX Home Videos.” Six sites are included and the themes you’ll see inside are teens, creampies, voyeur, outdoor fucking, and even stolen home movies. It may not always be as flashy and glamorous as big studio porn, but there’s something really hot about regular people fucking and truly enjoying themselves.
The Goods –
All of the content in the network is exclusive. They say that some of the videos are submitted by couples and others are shot just for the sites themselves. It’s a mix of amateur action that you won’t find anywhere else.
Getting around the network is easy. On the main network page you’ll find a list of the recent updates, along with the top rated scenes across all of the sites. Their site list includes descriptions of all of the sites, and you only have to enter your username and password once to get into all of them.
There’s a good amount of content overall. If you total the videos from all of the sites, you’ll get over 450 movies for a total of 120 GB. Camcorder XXX is the largest with about a quarter of the total number of videos. It’s impressive that they’ve got this many movies all within in a single niche.
The Bads –
Updates could be more frequent on the sites. It looks like most of the sites update every 2-3 weeks. That’s just not quite often enough. Overall, you’ll find updates a few times a week for the whole network, but if you joined for any one site in particular, you might be disappointed with the wait time between updates.
As is usually the case with home videos, quality could be better. The videos are offered in two quality settings, going up to 1200k. As far as home videos go, that isn’t bad. Overall, they looked pretty average. Some only went up to 700k and these really looked bad. I suppose it goes with the territory, but just be prepared for lots of pixilation and graininess.
I do question how genuine these “home videos” are. I got the impression that a lot of them were simply staged to look like home videos. I don’t have a problem with that necessarily because they do look pretty realistic and 90% of porn is just the fantasy anyway, but it is something to keep in mind.
Conclusion –
As a niche network, XXX Home Video Network isn’t bad. They’ve got a good-sized collection of original content and it’s a pretty user-friendly set-up. Unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. It’s appropriate for the genre but overall it could be improved. I also expected more frequent updates for $30 a month. It’s worth a try if you are looking for some hardcore amateur movies but not terribly impressive otherwise.
