X Movies.com calls itself "the most comprehensive downloadable adult video site", with over 1,177+ DVD titles and adult genres like DP, Gonzo, teens, toys, interracial, MILF and more. They offer daily updates, full-length scene downloads, and films from some of your most well-known Studios, like: Elegant Angel, Zero Tolerance and Red Light District with DivX quality streams and a reduced monthly membership price of $19.95 per month.
The Good:
- over 1,100+ videos for only about $20 bucks a month - that's not a bad deal! There's a large selection of hardcore films here including fetish content, anal, DP, lesbians, mature, teens, shemale, POV and more. All your favorite pornstars and Studios should be found somewhere throughout the site, and daily updates means you'll always have something new to check out. Not like you could go through all these videos in any short period of time anyways.
- In some small ways the design and options could be more advanced, but you do have the option to browse by category, studio, series or pornstar, as well as use the search feature.
- Although not all the content on the site offers multiple bandwidth options, shorter clips and DivX video quality, all of the newest content does and I'd say most do. I only ran into a few that didn't, and those offered WMV streams up to 500k.
The Bad:
- Obviously this is non-exclusive content that could be found elsewhere on the Internet. But that goes with just about any video site anyway.
- And while the DivX quality videos look great, they need to fully download before you can stream, which is why I'd love to see a higher quality WMV option added; something closer to 2000k quality. Because really, the MPG and WMV files options that are offered now are way below today’s' standards in quality and the DivX files here took way too long for even me to download.
- Navigational features could be more advanced, with the option of multiple categorical searches, etc.
The Conclusion:
X Movies is a nice enough video site offering lots of content at a reduced monthly price. I'd say $20 bucks per month is well worth the investment for so many entertaining, downloadable adult DVD's. My biggest issue with this site overall has to do with the fact that the only good quality download option are the DivX files, while all other viewing options don't offer anywhere near the kind of quality we're used to seeing these days. It would serve them well to offer WMV file streams/downloads upwards of 2000k. If you really like DivX quality videos then X Movies is worth a look, as there's a ton to check out, but otherwise I think I might check up on one of the other video sites to see what kind of user options they have offered; there are quite a few new and good video sites coming out these days.

We asked and they listened; X Movies now offers bit rate qualities as high as 2500k for their video streams & downloads. Okay fine, it's probably not fair to take all the credit for this, but it sure does help perk things up around here. It's been just over a year and a half since our last visit and more than 800+ videos have been added in that time, bringing the total to 1,900+. That's just an insane amount of content! Everything from the Title to the Series, Actors and Categories are cross-linked, which I think might have always been that way, but I thought it was worth mentioning this time. Other than an improvement in quality and quantity, I don't think much else has changed. X Movies seems to have done away with the DivX downloads and is offering the 2500k WMV files instead. They still take quite a bit of wait time to download, and the streaming clips aren't quite where they should be in terms of quality, but the specially reduced TBP price of less than $20 bucks per month remains. Overall X Movies is a great join for users looking for quality video porno. Hopefully they continue to improve the quality offerings for the content in the future as well.
