X Movies is a video download site offering up a huge collection of porno flicks with all your favorite stars from all your favorite studios. The tour is well-designed and full of information and, actually, it’s exactly the same as the member’s area so you can browse their entire collection before joining to see if X Movies is right for you.
The Goods –
They’ve got a huge collection of content. Right now you’ll find nearly 1,200 DVDs online for a total of over 2436 gigabytes of content. That’s enough porn to keep you busy 24/7 for 75 days straight. Having such a large collection allows them to offer a good variety of niches. They’ve got all the big ones you might want, amateur, double penetration, gangbangs, gonzo, lesbians, teens, and even a POV category which shows they’re keeping up with the newest interests.
The site is updated daily, and we’re not talking about just one scene. We’re talking about one entire DVD added every single day. It’s no wonder their site is so big with such a great update schedule.
The high quality Xvids looked great. They’re sharp and clear and easily enjoyed at full-screen.
I had no trouble navigating this large site. They offer plenty of user features and browsing options to keep things manageable. You can view movies by category, studio, series, or star, and use their search feature to search multiple fields at once. There’s also a favorites folder for marking your favorite scenes.
The Bads –
You’ll need to be patient if you want to view the high quality movies. The lower quality wmvs are offered in clips that begin playing right away. However, if you’ve joined a video-focused site, I can’t imagine you’d be satisfied with the quality of those clips. The mpeg looked no better. So, to get the most out of these movies you’ll need to download the full-scene Xvid which can take a while. It took me about 10 minutes to download a 24 minute long scene. I’d love to see higher quality wmvs or faster Xvid downloads so not to spend all my time waiting.
Obviously, all of the content here is non-exclusive. That should be expected coming into the site, however. Still, keep in mind that there’s really nothing unique here and you may recognize a good bit if you frequent video sites.
Conclusion –
If you’re looking for a massive collection of good looking, fully downloadable videos, X Movies definitely deserves a visit. They’ve set up a special price for readers of The Best Porn who can join at a rate of $20 a month, a good savings off their regular price of $30 a month. When you consider how much you get for $20, it’s clear X Movies is a very good value. There’s room to improve in a few areas, but overall X Movies is a very strong site.

Since our last visit to X Movies a year and a half ago, they've consistently been adding a new DVD every single day and now offer over 1,900 DVDs. That's 700 new DVDs since our last visit so obviously some days they've added multiple new movies. Video quality has improved since our last visit, with new wmvs playing at over 2400k. These look great and are much more fitting of a DVD site like X Movies. I'm not seeing a whole lot of changes otherwise, but that's not a bad thing because the site was strong before. X Movies remains a very solid join for DVD lovers.
Score increased from 85.0 to 86.0.
