X Movies is one of the newer style DVD download sites that have become quite prominent over the past several years. If done right these are some of the most fun sites around that appeal to the widest audiences of porn. X Movies tour is very straightforward in that guests can surf the entire movie collection just as members see it so it's very easy to see what membership includes.
The Goods:
- Big Downloadable DVD Collection. Clearly the big database of movies is the biggest strength here with a ton of hardcore action in all the popular niches. Looking at their niche sections I like that they have categories for things like big butts, gonzo, POV, reality and others since those are areas not singled out by some competing sites.
- Clean Design With Search Tools. The design is professional and fitting site of this kind. The search tools include star, studio, series, and a keyword search. Each individual movie listing has clickable star and studio names to quickly jump to similar movies.
- Decent Viewing/Download Options. They give some choice in this regard with full movie DivX as the top quality files plus full movie MPEGs and WMV clips. For those interested there are WMV in-browser streams as well.
The Bads:
- Some Niches Could Be Bulked Up. In my browsing through the collection I noticed sections like Asian, Handjobs, and Mature could use growth. I notice that far and away the Anal category is the largest which is a bit unusual (but I good for anal sex fans).
- Non-Exclusive Content. This is simply the nature of things for sites like this. They get their movies from all sorts of studios so fans of porn DVDs will no doubt recognize some of the scenes here.
Conclusion:
X Movies updates with one new movie per day which is a nice pace and what I expect from a site like this. They've also provided TBP users with a discounted membership price which is good to see as well. One thing I didn't mention in my goods or bads is the video quality. It's solid but not exceptional so it wasn't an issue that's worthy of a ton praise or pointing out as a problem. Overall X Movies is a well rounded DVD download site.

X Movies seems to be moving along with daily updates which continue to build up the collection. They're in the area of a couple thousand total titles now available which is a respectable number for a DVD download site. With regards to the other parts of the site the bullet points from my initial review still stand. In fact, the site seems to have held steady in terms of navigation/design, video quality/options, and niches included. Anal remains the largest section along with Gonzo, Teens, and DP. On the video quality issue they fit in the middle of the pack compared to other similar download sites. Again, it’s the type of site where guests can check out the entire collection before signing up so you'll know exactly what you're buying.
