Intro

XCams has simple title that fits this live webcam site's concept which is also straightforward. It is live webcam chat shows with the focus here on European models. The vast majority of girls speak English however there are lots of other languages available from a lot of the models including French, Spanish, Dutch, and a few others. The layout you see on the guest tour is essentially what the member's area is like with the obvious exception that members are directed to the live cam when clicking on a model rather than to the join page.

The Pros

Live Webcams, Nice Amount of Girls Online, Mostly European.

XCams does well in terms of quantity with over three hundred performers online at the time of my visit. There's definitely a Euro flavor which is fun and most of the shows are solo girls there are a handful of other types like couples. The girls are a nice mix with plenty of 18-35 year old hot babes along with more mature ladies in the mix too. Body types are also varied with slender hot chicks along with more average and plump body types. With Euro as the overarching theme there are a lot of different types of solo female performers here.

Nice Quality Webcam Viewing, Smooth Video, Easy Chat System.

Something of key importance on live cam sites like this is the quality of the feed and the ease of use. Both are strengths here as the Flash viewer is quite large and although it varies a little between performers the feed is quite smooth with a high frame rate. The player also loaded quickly for me within a few seconds and you can sign in with whatever name you prefer and start chatting right away.

Other Good Stuff:

There is an advanced search tool which allows for filtering the performers on language, solo/couple/etc, ethnicity, breast size, hair, figure, and more. A favorites tool is also available.
At the header of the live cam feed there is an account ticker which clearly shows how many minutes you have remaining on your account.

The Cons

No Free Public Chat, Minutes Used Right Away When Viewing.

This is something that's different from the way the majority of cam sites are set up. What I'm most used to is clicking on girl, getting into a free public chat, and then 'going private' to begin using minutes. The XCams setup begins using minutes as soon as you open a models cam and there isn't the free chat middleman step. Live cams like this are always dependent on the performer%u2019s interaction with you so you don't get the free stage to get thing started.

Account Details/Summary Not Easily Accessible.

After logging in I was able to locate a My Favorites section and a logout button along with country and language options but beyond that a My Account page doesn't seem available. The FAQ references ones where you can cancel your account or do other things but I couldn%u2019t find it. This is the type of site where you'd like to manage your account, minutes, etc. but the set-up isn't like that here.

Minor Negatives:

Some model bio pages have small pics and then some also have "videos". The videos actually aren't recorded movies at all but are another tricky link to the live cam which begins using your minutes right away.
Membership charges are in Euros so with the conversion rates that equates to a higher U.S. Dollar amount.

The other

XCams is smart phone and portable device compatible. There is an icon about this on the footer at the bottom of the site and also in the FAQs.

Bottom Line

This live cam site has lots of models that are mostly European but no free chat is available.

XCams has a couple key items of note. What really work in the site's favor are the number of models and the nice quality cams that have a high frame rate and play smoothly. On the flip side what's different from so many other cam sites is the lack of a free public chat. You have to start from square one right away while using your minutes with each model and can't feel her out or develop a rapport before using your credits. Along with the Euros currency that can combine to make this a fairly expensive site.
