Intro

The Wild Rose Network is one of the original and oldest amateur networks online. The original star of the network, Carol Cox, who still can be enjoyed here, opened one of the first amateur sites more than 13 years ago. Since her own site launched, this Montreal swinger has helped dozens more wild amateurs get their start. Members can see all that and more on this amateur network.

The Pros

Exclusive amateur content.

This is the real deal. Carol started her site and this network back before online porn was cool. She's a real hardcore amateur babe who loves to swing and capture her adventures on camera. Her frolics have led many would-be amateur stars to her virtual doorstep and her network helped build their sites into entertaining destinations that she knew her members would love. A decade later, this collection is still going strong with all original all amateur content that you won't find anywhere else.

Large collection.

With 23 sites included, there's a lot to enjoy here. Our counts put the network total at around 220,000 photos and 1,100 videos. Of course, a lot of that content can be found on their flagship site featuring Carol, but there are a couple others with impressive totals.

Some high quality videos.

I was impressed to find some high definition videos on these sites. Newer wmvs play at 5200k and are 1280 x 720 in size. They're sharp and look great, while still maintaining an amateur feel. Only the most recent of some of the videos have this option, but hopefully we'll see more soon.

Other Good Stuff:

Photos can be viewed in two image sizes.
Some of the webgirls also perform live camshows for network members.
Some sites offer mobile versions. These sites are optimized for enjoyment on your phone so you can take your porn with you anywhere and everywhere.

The Cons

Lots of average-quality content.

While the new HD videos look good, most of the collection looks far more average. The photos are as small as 900 x 600 in size and can be a bit blurry. Especially around faces, the photos seem overcompressed or something. Most of the videos play at 1100k and are 640 x 480. They don't look bad, but let's just say the HD was a needed upgrade.

Some small sites.

There are sites of all sizes in this collection. There are many with fewer than 20 scenes online and I have no idea if they're growing or not but I doubt it. The main sites, like Carol's, are great, but there are some disappointingly small ones, as well.

Minor Negatives:

No update info is provided. There's an update log but there are no actual dates provided. It does look like updates are coming, but it's hard to say which sites are updated when.
There are no zip downloads for the photo galleries.
Navigation was a little tricky at times. There are just so many links in some of the sites it was a bit like a maze at times. It seems like the sites have been redesigned but over time, things just got a bit jumbled.

Bottom Line

The network could use a few more upgrades, but it remains an entertaining join for fans of real amateur action.

The Wild Rose Network remains a great join for amateur fans. It has come a long way in the last decade, although at times it still feels as though there is still a ways to go. Membership is $25 a month, which is definitely reasonable for a collection like this. Hopefully they'll continue to add high definition content and bring up the quality overall. I'm sure that The Wild Rose Network will evolve and upgrade and remain a great join for amateur fans.
