This is a true amateur site that has transformed into an enormous amateur community, there's nothing like it. The site was born over four years ago and is the creation of a sexually adventurous couple from Maryland who's online personal website and lifestyle soon became many other's as well. Jon David (JD) and Cherie, also known as Cbaby, run this site themselves, inviting many other's to join them by allowing them to submit their amateur content to the wetlands home page, or by allowing them a little space of their own on the net.
With that in mind, you're not going to find very many model-like babes with airbrushed butts and thighs, what you are going to find are real people having real sex, and that's a major turn-on. On the down side, you are also going to have to look a little harder for quality pictures and videos, the range is massive here. The range in quality of the content on this site is not the only massive thing either; the amateur's showcased range quite a bit in age as well. Many young and hot, and the younger and hotter, the more staged some of the photos look (less amateurish), weird. All in all, there's plenty of content, basically all exclusive minus a couple of third party feeds, and the site updates almost every day.
The videos are a different story. I had a many of trouble with the videos on this site. They do not offer streaming videos; therefore you need to download each and every clip if you want to see it. The larger the file size, the longer it takes. Not only that, but for some reason I couldn't just "open" a file, I had to actually download it to my computer for it to open properly. Otherwise I got an error message. Something about the file name path being wrong? I was a bit annoyed; especially since I'm sure it's the more hardcore content that I am missing out on here. They do have a note posted on their site about this, and hopefully they will find a solution soon as a download for a high quality video can take ten minutes at least, you're more than likely to get a limp dick by this point. And the low quality videos!! You don't even want to fuss with those; they're way too small to be worth it. It's like squinting through the lines of the unsubscribed playboy channel when you were a kid just to catch a chance at a boob, or something.
While the wetlands site offers a couple different features for navigating the site, a better job could have been done in the overall design of things. You can quickly jump from one pace to the next, and that's great, but not without getting a tad lost since everything feels very scattered and I would have preferred to see, thumbs, stills, anything before sitting through a whole download of a video clip. I know, I know, it's an "amateur site", but when an amateur site gets this big a bit extra needs to be put into the layout and design, which is in the works it seems. They have a beta-test area you can check out which will soon be the "new" members area. I hope it improves the site design, as the way it is now greatly affects the overall experience of the site. The drop down menu feature in the videos section slightly makes up for the lack in other areas. You can select by model or by fetish (anal, lesbian, etc.), which then jumps you quickly to all videos pertaining to your selection; definitely a positive feature for the site.
With improvements on the way, Wetlands is easily a remarkable site for those who enjoy the amateur community and being involved (they offer a message board and a chat room where many member's frequent). The cost is fairly cheap, only twenty bucks a month, so it's a must to at least check it out. You'll find that it is truly a unique site.

My bottom line for this site written just over 2 years ago now was - design improvements will greatly bring this site into the top notch status it deserves. - and I am pleased to announce that the navigational and design improvements that were being made before have been fully implemented, making the Wetlands a much more enjoyable community to be a part of. The member's area looks incredible and offers such features as a model list, search features, multiple ways of displaying content and more. They have also added member boards and a chat forum to the community, allowing users to get in contact with others more easily. Overall I love the changes here although the content quality is still not quite up to par. But with this much content and a new and improved site design, Wetlands is a super great community of amateurs for amateurs to enjoy.

It seems as though we've always had some sort of issue with Wetlands, whether it be lack of design or quality of the content. It's been more than 3 years since our last visit, and although it looks like they're right on track with updates, the quality of the content has not been upgraded at all! I get the whole amateur angle of the site, and I love it! But 640x480 pixel images and tiny video clips just don't have the same effect on us these days. Plus the whole design is an issue as it once was, too. The only good news is that they've reduced the price of membership to only $19.95 per month. This is a great (although outdated) resource of amateur content and interaction, but I think the lack of quality and design merits an even lower price tag at this point.
