The Wetlands husband and wife operators Jon-David and Cbaby say they had no prior computer or porn experience prior to starting this site back in '98. Look where they are now. They've got themselves a massive community full of all kinds of amateur wives pics, videos, and chat boards. This place truely is an online community where the webmasters constantly interact with members on the message boards and updating with pics of Cbaby.
There's all kind of content in here, but you might have some trouble finding it. The site navigation and organization is not what it should be. As I browsed the site, I kept running accross more and more features, some of which were just confusing to me. For instance, I know they have live webcam shows, but I'm still unsure of the times and what they entail. The pictures are easy enough though, and there's a lot of them! All are of amateurs and mostly mature amateurs at that. Very few if any 19 year old hard bodies found here. Quality of the pics ranged from excellent all the way to poor. When you open a photo set, it's really a craps shoot as to how good they'll be. A bit frustrating at times, but I suppose it comes with the amateur nature of the site. There's also a picture message board where members post pics of themselves or their wives on a daily basis.
The videos were an experience all to themselves. By that I mean getting them to function properly. There's a notice posted that the vidoes may not stream properly, but I had trouble even downloading some of them. When I did get them working, the video quality was good if you chose the high quality file (medium and low are also available for some vids). Be sure you're not in a rush though, most seemed to take an eternity to download. When they did work, I found a good mix of hardcore and softcore action, but it is a lot of the same people over and over.
When it comes to true amateur wives I don't think there's many sites out there that can compete on the same level with The Wetlands. How much you'll enjoy this site just depends on how deeply you'll want to get involved in the community. No doubt there's enough pics and video to keep most people happy, but if you become active in the chatting and message boards I could see it becoming significantly more enjoyable. Since monthly membership is $19.95, staying a member for multiple months isn't out of the question. There's no trial membership though, so you'll have to lay out the cash for a whole month just to see if this is your thing.

The Wetlands has a much tidier design than it did when first reviewed. All the content sections on the site are now well organized and it makes an enormous difference. Even though it's been a couple years I still remember scrambling around trying to find things under the old layout. The only issue I have now is that there is no way to just view all the videos. Instead the content is organized by model and a lot of them have no videos at all which can lead to a lot of wasted browsing time.
On the content front The Wetlands is still an active community center and a place to see hundreds of amateur wife models. The combination of message boards, chat, and gallery comments make it clear that members are really involved with the site. I had no trouble viewing any of the videos this time around. Even though the site has more stuff now then ever before along with a new design I do need to lower the score slightly. This site was reviewed so early on that the score was a bit higher that it should have been especially considering how I score site nowadays.
Score decreased from 82.8 to 82.0.

The Wetlands has reconfigured their member's area since the last time TBP looked at the site. Some new features of the set-up are noted on the member's login page. As the site stands now it's foundation remains the large collection of original amateur hardcore and softcore content plus the community features. The design is now a text based layout with browsing categories (including one for viewing just the videos) with things organized chronologically. They seem to have done away with the model-based structure and gone strictly with a niche category format. Still, the search/filter tool allows for filtering by individual model. Updates continue to be made every two or three days on average so Wetlands remains a good source of amateur content with an emphasis on wives and MILFs. While the site isn't fancy there's no doubt that the Wetlands is a solid source of all amateur material with many years of archives for members to draw upon.
