We Rate Shemales is up for review today, which is a little funny because we rate porn paysites. So a site that rates and reviews shemales is going to get rated and reviewed themselves - they became the reviewee! I won't pretend to know how to rate shemales personally, so I'll leave that to the expert. Once you get past the rating game, you are basically getting access to some exclusive shemale content, mostly in the form of solo shoots, with a touch of hardcore thrown in here and there for fun. Membership gets you access to a couple other similar sites, but is pretty expensive at $35 for the first month, and $30 a month after that.
The goods:
- Exclusive shemale content. I love niche content like this that's exclusive since it's a bit more rare to come across. The exclusive shemale content is definitely the one main reason to join this site.
- Update dates are current. They show regular updates coming weekly, right up to today's date in fact. However, if you read below, the site never actually grows. I'm not sure if they add new content weekly, or just change the dates.
The bads:
- Small site. With only 29 scenes online right now, and for the past month or more actually, it's not a very large site. You can breeze through it pretty quickly, and I'm not sure if you'd want to stick around for lone once you read the other issues below.
- Not actually growing (??). They have 29 scenes online today, with weekly updates supposedly occurring very regularly. However, they had 29 scenes online a few weeks ago when we did our content count, and 29 scenes online a month before that as well. The site isn't growing, and I'm not sure if no new content is being added, or if they actually take old content off every week too.
- Quality can be pretty bad. It varies, but more often than not, the content actually came in at 320x240 and does not look very good at all. A few come in at 720x480 instead and look better, but not the majority I'd say.
- Expensive. $35 is a lot to pay for a site, especially one that doesn't update, isn't large, and offers poor-quality content. The $5 recurring price break is nice, but still doesn't help a ton in this area.
Conclusion:
I'd say there are a few too many anomalies here at We Rate Shemales for me to give them any kind of recommendation. They need some growth first and foremost, especially at the $35 price tag they are charging. Second, we need to figure out why they aren't growing, even though the update dates are current. The quality isn't there either, which is a final nail for me. The content is decent if they can fix all of these issues, but right now it's just a bit of a mess for me.
