We Rate Shemales is a tranny site with solo performances and as the title/tour suggest there is a rating concept as well. Actually I should clarify a couple items. First they do have a small number of hardcore shoots mixed in but still overall it's mostly solo action. Secondly, the rating idea is more played out on the tour with scores for face, boobs, ass, and cock shown on the samples there. The member's area simply has a rated score posted along side the models name so basically this site is best described as a straightforward picture/video site.
The Goods:
- Original Shemale Video/Picture Episodes. We Rate Shemales has original shoots that include shemales in stripping, posing, and masturbation scenes. The setup revolves around shoots or episodes with each having a downloadable WMV video and an accompanying picture gallery. The other aspect that stands out is that these are South American shemales which adds another specialty to the collection.
- Bonus Shemale Sites Included. These guys highlight the bonus sites on the guest tour plus the member's area has easy links to jump over to them. They are both shemale/tranny which of course works well here. Actually, since We Rate Shemales is a smaller site the bonuses sites do help bulk up what's included.
The Bads:
- Some Lower Quality Vids, No Options. The video set-up here is limited in terms of choices and the quality does vary. WMV is the single format and they each shoot is in one quality level. Some look pretty good but a handful of the shoots are clearly lower quality and below what I expect from a paysite.
- Little Shoot Info, No Vid File Details. In a couple ways the member's area has less info than the guest tour. The tour has things like shoot length and attractiveness ratings but that stuff isn't posted in the member's area. They also don't tell you the video file size and only have a couple summary sentences.
- Smaller Collection, High Monthly Price. The episodes date back to early 2008 so the site is relatively new on the scene. Because of this they have a smaller amount of content in their collection. The $34.95/mo price is expensive even if you take into account the included bonus sites.
Conclusion:
One area that I was unsure on and didn't touch on is the updates. The member's area has clearly posted update dates that show weekly additions. However, TBP's content fact managers have noted that the dates might not be accurate as the number of episodes has stayed the same in the months leading up to this review. Overall the content is a good collection of downloadable shemale videos though they seem to have too high a price for what's included.
