Webcams.com has a hell of a domain name. As someone who is familiar with the domain business they did well to brand their site around that name. That's not really relevant to the site but the title did jump out at me. The concept here is straightforward as it is a live webcam show site with a pay-per-view pricing structure.
The Goods:
- Hundreds of Models Online at a Time. The total number of models participating on the site is well into the thousands with over few hundred performers online at any given time. This is a respectable number. In my experience there are a handful of huge cam site with hundreds/thousands online and then many that have a few dozen. Webcams.com definitely has more than its smaller competitors with the amount of girls they have active and online.
- Model Categories w/ Browse Feature. This sort of goes hand-in-hand with my first point about the number of performers. The performers are broken down into a few dozen niches with the majority in the solo girl category. Most popular categories can be found like couples, asians, milfs, interracial, teens, etc.
- Decent Profiles, Easy-to-Use Interface. Models have pretty good personal facts that include information and performance schedule. It does vary depending on the performer but overall it's fairly informative. The free and premium chat interface is easy to use and is decent quality. I'm no techie so if I find the cam viewing to be simple then the vast majority of surfers will too.
The Bads:
- Avg Niche Category Page Layout. The site design isn't as sharp as it could be especially when it comes to the niche browsing. There the models are listed one after another and the size of the entries can make for a lot of pages to jump through. Perhaps a tile layout options of the thumbnails would help.
- Weak Advanced Search Feature. The advanced search features has a half-dozen or so filter options but I found it lacking many things. For instance you can search favorites, all models, and site join date which are not all that helpful. Physical characteristic features or type of action details aren't offered in the advanced search. It's not really all that helpful of a tool.
- PPV Format Can Get Expensive. This simply is the nature of PPV sites. The per-minute rate of Webcams.com is just about standard for this type of site. The fact is when you spend any deal of time doing PPV you'll find the cost adds up quickly.
Conclusion:
The one thing I haven't discussed yet is the entertainment value which is something that I generally leave off from the live cam sites. The fact is the amount of fun had depends on the girl and how the interaction is between you and her. Some are better at performing than others no matter what live cam site you're at. Other than that Webcams.com is a nice sized live webcam show site although they don't have any one distinguishing feature that would really set them apart from competitors.
