Get ready for some nice photography (which I always enjoy), as that seems to be the name of the game here at Watch 4 Beauty. They call themselves an "erotic art magazine," and definitely seem to love up to that hype with the photos you see in their tour. Get used to the look by the way, since the member's area is identical. They boast some nice specs at 5000 pixel pictures, and high-definition video as well. However, some growth may be needed at 313 shoots, and just 30 videos online currently. The $25 price tag is about what I was expecting, so I'm ready to jump on in.
The goods:
- Quality is awesome, as expected. Just looking at the specs you know this stuff will be great: 5000 pixel pictures, true high-definition video, etc. Seeing them in the flesh confirms that, and you shouldn't have a problem with quality at all here.
- Good download/viewing options. Across the board they give you most every option you'd want. Photos come in three sizes, plus a couple zip file options, and even a PDF of all the images which was interesting. Videos come in at least two formats, plus iPod-formatted videos, including the high-definition version of course. The only thing missing were smaller clips for the videos, which would help some people on dialup.
- Updates come every other day. Of course it's usually a photo update (look at their pics vs. video counts), but the site is growing either way. I assume it's a rather new site, so hopefully the update schedule should help out their numbers fairly quickly.
The bads:
- Downloads are painfully slow. I'm getting anywhere from 100-200 KB/sec. which is about 1/5 - 1/10th of our full download capacity. They don't allow the use of any download accelerators either, so for these huge video files, you're stuck with waiting 10 minutes or so I guess. I've seen worse, but I can only hope this is a temporary problem.
- Could use some growth still. The video numbers are most troubling, but even the photo count could be boosted since that's their main focus. Hopefully in time, with their good update schedule, this will just take care of itself. More videos in the rotation wouldn't hurt though.
- More info on models would be great. They give you their name, country, and birth year, but that's it. Of those 300+ photo galleries, they're all of just 15 models, so I was hoping to get to know them a little better.
- A few options were hard to find at first. That right bar on the page just isn't a place I'd normally look for things; however, that's where I found the option to bump up the picture size, and the video download links as well. It's not intuitive, but once you know stuff is there, you keep an eye out for it at least.
Conclusion:
The few problems Watch 4 Beauty has should take care of themselves in some time: quantity, and maybe a little site maturity (model info, search options, etc.) as they grow. Otherwise, they're doing pretty well for themselves here with great content, lots of updates, and some good options. It doesn't hurt that I like the style of photography and more artsy photos either, so I'd say I was pretty pleased here overall.

Thankfully Watch 4 Beauty has continued to grow, and is definitely larger than the last time we took a look. It's still not a huge site, but given some time, I hope it'll get there. Updates are still rolling in nicely as well which is good to see. Otherwise, the site itself remains much the same from what I can tell. The quality is still top-notch all around, with the high-definition videos and huge, clear photos looking awesome as expected. The download speeds have improved since last time (though still not perfect), so I'm removing that con. Again, they just need some more time for growth and maturing, and I think they'll do well in the long run.
Score remains at 88.0.
