Whips, chains, leather and more! Oh yes, much, much more. Wasteland is probably the biggest BDSM and fetish site of its kind. As this site solely dedicates itself to the Fetish and BDSM way of life, so does the members who frequent here, where many times the rules for sex carry over into aspects of everyday life. But unfortunately, a large community of BDSM content is not all it takes to make a great porn site these days. These are the times where quality reigns over quantity and site designs are becoming more and more advanced, whereas Wasteland has made some good efforts and even offers HD these days, but still struggles at times in terms of usability and overall quality.
The Pros
Large Archive of Fetish Content.
A huge member community with massive amounts of content that has been accumulating since 1995ish. Although it's tough to count, there has to be more than 975,000 images and around 800 videos listed here. Offering much more than the average porn website; you can do everything from viewing pictures of your biggest fetish, to watching videos, to meeting other's in your area with these interests, to finding a wealth of information about this lifestyle. They've really been into Japanese bondage lately too, if that's your thing.
Some Good Quality Content.
Not all of the latest video editions are offered with HD specs, but some are. I do wish they were labeled, though. Regardless of sizing, specs hover around 2600k and the overall video quality looks decent. Image sizing is pretty standard these days, but they look nice.
Other Good Stuff:
The overall design has been updated to more of a blog format to help make things easier. It's slightly confusing & cluttered, but there are some nice features including cross-linked tags, Flash streaming & download options that include WMV/MP4 files types in 2 quality settings, along with a mobile format option at times, too.
Each week a new "edition" is added to the site. This edition offers new & re-issued photos, videos, articles, stories, and more. This has been a consistent feature at Wasteland for as long as I can remember, so it's nice to see that they're still keeping it going.

The Cons
Old Site Design Still in Tact at Times.
It looks like they're sticking with the original site design when it comes to many of the content pages, which at this point is very outdated and hard to get used to. It seems that they've done the best they can at breaking things down into categories and offering a better designed blog-style main member's page without having to do a whole site overload. The site and the amount of content is endless and not very well categorized. Until you get familiar with the member's area, which could take months in itself, you kind of just stumble on to things.
Overall Quality is Average to Below.
Quality still varies somewhat and much of the older content is almost unwatchable. Of course this is expected for a site so large and one that has been around as long as Wasteland has.
Minor Negatives:
There's some non-exclusive content here. It's hard to say how much; just keep in mind that it's not all original.
Bottom Line
If it's the real naughty stuff you like, well then say hello to others like you.
A couple of things have changed since my last look inside the Wastland's member's area, most importantly the design of the main member's area page at an attempt at better organizing the content. Your updates still come weekly in a newsletter type structure, offering everything from New Features, photos, videos, articles, stories, etc. Quality still varies somewhat, but the newest images are looking nice, and the 2600k HD videos are a real treat for the eyes, although not perfect HD. Wasteland is clearly an old school site with many contributors and followers, and deservingly so.
