Vintage Taboo is one of the classic porn sites featuring porn from before most of us were born. The "Golden Age" of porn was in the 1970s and the most recent stuff here is from that era although the bulk of things come from the pre-20's thru 50's time period. Not surprisingly the majority of the content is black and white.
The Goods:
- Several Styles & Eras of Vintage Porn. The main content is organized into the periods from which they come from. These include Pre 20s, 20s-30s, 40s-50s, and 60s-70s. In addition there is a separate movies section along with areas featuring burlesque, stars, magazines, illustrations, native girls, and funnies. All-in-all the collection does represent a good blend of many different types of vintage porn.
- Decent Amount of Video Content. Sites in the vintage niche tend to focus heavily on photo content since that's really what's available. Vintage Taboo has done a respectable job putting together a movie collection of over a hundred vids. Like the pictures they're categorized by era and each usually has a specific year posted.
The Bads:
- Low Quality QT Vids, No Options. While I think they've done well compiling vintage movies the formatting and viewing choices could use some work. QuickTime is the single format and they quality level is not impressive.
- Inconsistent Pic Quality. Generally this goes with the territory when it comes to vintage niche sites. The picture size and graininess is sometimes pretty good and other times not so good.
Conclusion:
One thing that I did notice was the BJ sub-sections for all the different eras. Blowjob content isn't found on all the vintage sites out there so I'll give these guys credit for having that type of stuff from each time period. Overall Vintage Taboo is a decent source for vintage porn even though the video format options don't do it for me.

Vintage Taboo has continued to grow with very steady updates at a pace of additions five days a week. The basic set up still stands and the bullet points in my initial review are accurate though the score is going to be bumped up after this follow-up. They have built a sizable collection for a vintage niche site with thousands of pics and a couple hundred videos. What's most interesting to me is the way they break things down by decade/era and further have hardcore and fetish sub-categories like BJs, fetish, spanking, catfights, boobs, derrieres, etc. It's a well rounded collection with some nice organization that quite frankly isn't found very often on other vintage porn sites. The biggest weakness remains the lower quality videos that are just in QT format so that takes away from the entertainment value of that part of the content.
Score increased from 74.5 to 76.5.
