Video Strip Poker is exactly what the title makes it out to be. It's not very often that we at TBP get to review sites in the Games niche so this is something that peaks my interest. Porn games have been around for years and a lot of paysites include them as bonus/extra material but with Video Strip Poker this is the centerpiece of the content and what they're all about.
The Goods:
- Original Strip Poker Video Games. Theses guys do come through with a strip poker game interface with a couple dozen different "episodes". The poker system is five card draw and easy enough to figure out the betting, drawing, etc. The videos are in-browser shoots of the girls which reacts to how the game is going. Of course winning multiple hands moves her along in stripping. It really only takes a few minute to get accustomed to the system and there are some creative lines from the girls that you'll come across while playing. One game I tried had two Czech models with dialogue in that language but these guys put sub-titles in which was a nice touch.
- Update Info & Addt'l Video Content. The episodes are clearly posted with update information. The also provide the model name, a brief description and links to her other appearances like picture galleries or bonus videos. A separate section of bonus videos provides additional site content. Aside from the forum this stuff rounds out what's available in the member's area.
The Bads:
- Semi-Entertaining Novelty Content. These games sites are subject to being novelty items that may or may not hold your interest beyond a short period of time. Patience is in order due to the interactive nature of the games and that you lose as many hands as you win making the stripping that much slower. The video set-up is that main selling point but beyond that they haven't pushed the envelope in terms of having multiple poker games, high-res videos, or tons of models.
- Updates are Sporadic & Varied. As I mentioned earlier the update inform is clearly posted and they seem to get about two new game episodes online per month. There isn't any set update pace and besides it being on the slow side it also can be sporadic with close together additions followed by gaps.
Conclusion:
Video Strip Poker has just about what I expected going in. It's a clever game set-up with a decent system in place and original material. It certainly fits a targeted audience who has patience to go through the poker system to get a chick naked. The teasing niche comes into play because of the time factor. There is still room for growth and for them to improve the poker system so it'll be interesting to see how the site evolves over time.
