Intro

Videoboys offers a clean-looking design, getting straight to the point with an original offering of mostly young French Canadian guys in hot gay action. $29.95 is what it will cost you to get inside, but if you stick around for 2 months or more that price drops down to a reasonable $23.95 thereafter. You also gain access to a handful of bonus sites with your membership, including: Cruiser Boys, Jeremy Roddick, Maximo Latino, and Squirtz. Here alone there are more than 150 video shoots, the latest of which also offer digital image sets.

The Pros

Original Content.

Video Boys features all exclusive content of young amateurs, mostly French Canadian's with the twink look, some fit college boy types, many with tattoos and other characteristics that make them unique. Intro interviews give a real sense of their personalities & profile their experiences. The scenes feature a good mix of solo and hardcore content with sensual blowjob scenes, the use of toys and plugs, rimjobs, jerk-off contests (with split screen action!), and more. Although the content is of young amateurs, the high quality material gives a more professional feel. Honestly, the videos are entertaining, well shot, and I really enjoyed them.

Quality Looks Good.

The newest sets appear to offer digital shots, either that or really nice looking stills. The colors are sharp and clear.

The streams are great quality, HD in fact, and the downloads offer bitrates up to 2000k recently (960x540). They're shot in HD quality so they look great. I just wish they offered true HD specs.

Bonus Site Access.

Updates here alone come in about twice per month. Bonus site access means another handful of updates per week between sites like Squirtz, a solo collection that updates Mondays, Maximo Latino on Wednesdays and Cruiserboys on Fridays.

Other Good Stuff:

The site design is clean & effective. Each shoot offers lengthy scene info, multiple viewing options including one for your mobile device and a set of images or screen caps.
Bonuses include additional content, Twitter and Facebook pages.
Price of membership drops after the second month.
ZIPs for the images.

The Cons

No Model Index, Content Categories or Additional Browse Features.

Some sort of model index, cross-linked scene tags or other additional browse features would help users navigate the content suited to their desires. Considering the amount of personality these boys have, a model index with bio stats would be a nice way to get to know them better before viewing.

Older Scenes Don't Look as Great.

Content dates back to 2008 and these scenes don't offer as nice quality as the newer ones. That's somewhat expected, however, and they don't look bad either with bitrate speeds up to 1400k (640x480). They also only offer small size screen caps for the images.

Minor Negatives:

Although the scenes here are shot in HD, true HD specs aren't offered for the video downloads. These days we're used to seeing bitrate speeds over 5000k (1280x720 and higher).
Currently updates appear to only be added 2x per month. While bonus site access will give you plenty to see in between, a more frequent update schedule would be preferred.
An additional file type, i.e. WMV, would be helpful for users on other platforms.
Download speeds are slow even with the use of a download manager which doesn't offer multi-channel.

Bottom Line

Entertaining scenes & bonus site access make Videoboys join-worthy.

Ultimately what won me over about Videoboys was the entertaining & original scenes. The quality looks good and bonus site access is a nice touch. The site design is clean, offering some nice stream/download options, but more browse options including a model index would be a big help. For exclusive content featuring young twinks, tattooed club kids and college boys, Videoboys delivers and does an overall good job.
