Today we're looking at the official site of Veronika Raquel, but I'm not really 100% sure who she is exactly. Reading through the tour, it looks like she may just be an amateur with a website. Her bio, though, does list several magazines and porn shoots she's been in the past, so she can't be that amateur. She is quite hot thankfully, and looks to offer a little bit of everything based on what I'm looking at. I don't know how long she's had the site, but she looks a couple years older in her member's area than she did in her tour to my untrained eye - take it for what you will. Membership is a whopping $40 a month, which will be tough to justify unless she does just everything perfectly inside.
The goods:
- All original content. Since she seems to do shoots with outside agencies here and there, I can't be sure it's all exclusive content, but at the least it's all original. All the content is of Veronika obviously, so you get to see her in a variety of scene types.
- Videos look decent. Quality was pretty good here, especially compared to the small photos. They're probably the best part of the site, so it's good she has something going for her here.
The bads:
- Could use some growth. It's not just a very large price, especially for what she's charging. She's at 60 photo galleries and almost 80 videos, which isn't small, but isn't large either. Without update dates, I have no idea how often new things are put up either.
- Updates not dated. As mentioned, nothing is dated anywhere, so you have no idea when something new is up. She advertises weekly updates in her tour, but without double checking every week, you can't be sure.
- Quite expensive. $40 is just a lot of money for any paysite out there, especially one that's borderline on a few things. You can join some fantastic sites at $20, so it may be tough to justify spending twice that
- No interaction. I was hoping for some kind of cam show, blog, diary, etc., but was disappointed to find nothing at all. I think interaction is a big key for some people when they join a solo site, so I'd love to see something added here.
- Pictures are small. The ones I'm seeing, even recent ones, are coming in around 550x330 or so which is just tiny. Some people have thumbnails not much smaller than that! It's weird too since the videos look decent, and the minimum size we've seen for years was 800x600 or higher.
Conclusion:
From the get go, Veronika had an uphill battle with me because of her high price tag. I don't think she delivered unfortunately. The site is good enough with original content and videos that are okay, but nothing really stood out as really good here. The lack of update information, interaction, and larger pictures really hurt the site, especially when you look back again at the price. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looks, and updates come regular and the site will continue to improve, but it's just tough to know at this point.
