This is the official site of pornstar Veronika Raquel. Official sites of pornstars are their own type of site with certain things I like to see. These include a personal content collection, interaction, and other items that would be of interest for fans. I wasn't familiar with Veronika's work but got a bit of a feel of her movies from the tour.
The Goods:
- More Videos than Pic Galleries. The site has a pretty well balanced collection in terms of amount of picture galleries and videos. The fact that there are a few more videos is good to see. Videos are definitely the kind of content that most surfers like the best so Veronika's setup works in that regard.
- New Vids Have Clips & Full-Files. The newer additions have both clips and full-movie files. The newest have WMV, MPEG, and iPod/PSP formats. WMV and QuickTime are the formats for some of the older videos. The action includes everything from solo stripping/toy play, hardcore boy/girl, and girl/girl.
- Network Access. The Azure Pass network of which Veronika's site is part includes a number of other official pornstar sites. The sites are likely to be of interest to those who like individual girl sites.
The Bads:
- No Organization or Update Info. Things are basic in terms of layout with just separate pages for the pics and vids. The video page is one long list which makes for a lot of scrolling. The picture galleries have no descriptions or context provided. There isn't any content breakdown or any kind of sections for "behind-the-scenes" or "real life" shoots. The older videos are dated but none of the new ones are nor are the pic galleries.
- Clips Only on Older Videos. The majority of the videos are still available only in clips only. It's good to see a site make improvements on newer additions although that does make the older stuff look lesser by comparison.
- Not Much Interaction. The guest tour refers to things like "My Diary" and "Get to Know Me" but in the member's are the interaction is nearly non-existent. There is a brief intro, a forum, and a wish list. Mostly the site is a picture and video collection.
Conclusion:
The price here is $39.95/mo which is definitely on the high end of paysites. I'm not sure why the price point is so high since the content is a pretty standard collection. It's best to look at Veronica's site as a pic/vid site with an attached network rather than as an interactive official site.
