Intro

Velvet Mag is up for review today, and this is another in the magazine collection from the people over at Swank Pass. Their tour only really showcases that this site features "the most beautiful girls online," though they don't go into much detail. The action inside is actually pretty standard, with mostly one-on-one hardcore, plus some extra threesome stuff thrown in here and there. $20 a month gets you in the door, thanks to a special discount they've setup for our users. You also get full access to all their other sites in the Swank Pass network.

The Pros

Lots to see overall.

With an archive going back quite a few years, it's pretty expected that they have a lot to see. They currently have over 1,100 photo galleries, and over 330 videos. It should keep you busy for quite a while, assuming you don't mind checking out a little bit of older content in the mix.

Network access included.

Of course, Velvet Mag isn't the only magazine these guys have to offer. You get access to 11 other sites in the Swank Pass network. These include Swank Mag, Just 18, Genesis Magazine, Fox Magazine, D Cup, and more. There's a ton of content in total.

Other Good Stuff:

Their content is labeled as all-exclusive here. I'm sure they have their own photographers and shoot all their own material.
The magazine archives are always a cool feature for a site like this. They provide some nice extra content to browse through.

The Cons

Quality isn't great.

Since a lot of their collection is not very recent, it's also expected that the quality won't be very good. However, even the newer sets lack a little pop at times. Videos are generally below average, even if they're labeled as "high quality" or "HD" in the description.

Navigation needs work.

They do offer a pretty nice advanced search; however, it didn't seem to work very well for me. A quick search for sets with 2 guys and 1 girl (from all their sites) was empty. A search for 2 girls and 1 guy from Velvet Mag produced results, but most were not 2 girls and 1 guy. Beyond that, the layout and site setup is not good for what they have here. They need something a little more custom for all the content and extras they feature.

Updates are hit or miss.

For the last month or so, updates have come in once a week (or sometimes even more). However, prior to that, they took a couple months off from new content with no explanation. With the size, I would have expected more than a single photo and video added each week, anyway.

Minor Negatives:

There are several ads sprinkled throughout the member's area. They make the site feel very cluttered and are just a bit excessive in my opinion.
Many videos are labeled with an HD download option, but they're nowhere near HD levels at all.
The video options vary a ton here. Some sets are great with small clips and full scenes in several quality and video type options. Others have very few options, however, and it seems to be just luck of the draw.

Bottom Line

A large collection, though the content itself is started to feel a little dated.

Velvet Mag offers a lot of content, especially when you consider all the network access and magazine archives that you get access to. However, the content itself is starting to show a little wear and tear compared to newer sites. Some older sets have that look as though they were scanned in, and even newer scenes lack the pop and quality we're used to seeing these days. Updates come in weekly at best, but can be delayed at times unfortunately. Navigation isn't great overall, especially for how much content they have, and the type of site it is. I think it's an okay addition to their network, and might be decent for fans of the magazine, but it doesn't quite live up to other, newer internet sites unfortunately.
