As it stands now a membership to this site gives you access to over 12,000 exclusive images and 140 exclusive videos; not a small amount of content by any means for a mere $19.95 per month. If amateurs are what gets your kicks off the most but you don't want to limit yourself to just 1, well then Velvet Ecstasy just might be your thing.
Exclusives are broken down by year, from late 1999 on, and the photos and videos are listed together for each set. From 1999 to present, there has always been an option to view images in both small and large sizes, with the former starting as small 400x300 pixels and the quality actually isn't bad. For the older sets that start this small though, the large image sizes lose a good amount of that quality even though they are only 800x600 pixels in size. Now, almost 5 years later, the small images for the newer photo sets don't start off all that much bigger at 500x375 pixels, though they offer the same good quality. Fortunately, the large images for the newer sets keep their quality and are as big as 1024x768 pixels, which is very nice. As promised, you're going to find a whole bunch of amateur couples having sex. Images can be viewed as a slide show, or by clicking on your choice of preview thumbs and all of the content here is promised to not disappoint. If you like to watch ordinary couples getting it on, then there's just no way to be disappointed by the content here. Newest images not only offer great quality in 2 different sizes, but they also offer that amateur touch in a very clean and easy to use format.
The videos for each set are broken down into parts and you have the option to either play them embedded in your browser window or stream/download and watch them using Windows Media Player 9. The quality is average to above and I suggest streaming them in Windows Media so you can watch them at double the image size, which for the newer videos (from about 2002 on), retains quite a bit of the original quality-- these are some great videos! Of course, these are your average couples, yet they are above average whores in the bedroom, and it's a real turn on to see how these couples perform when the film starts rolling. The attractiveness of the people you're going to find here varies some but most are average to above, and there are definitely some real lookers in there to turn you on as well. My main suggestion with the design of the site would be for a model list, so that member's have more than just the option of browsing sets by year. Also, since there's such a great mix of the type of sexual activity that couples partake in here, it would be nice to have a search function by keyword, or have sets listed by fetish/sexual activity as well as by year and by model. Am I asking for too much here? Heh, I don't think so, Velvet Ecstasy is a great amateur site with a large enough amount of content to have several different browsing options available. And of course, there's a long list of extras here as well, including image sets from friends, and bonus sites from the likes of Viv Thomas, UK Amateurs, Suze Randall, First Time Videos, etc., as well as erotic stories, and a store where you can find all your favorite fuck scenes from this site on video. I like this site, and I think there's a lot of quality time to be spent here, the $19.95 price is a fair one.

Velvet Ecstasy "is where lust and creativity come together". A very well done amateur site featuring real couples getting it on and it's all exclusive. Since we've been here last (about 11 months ago now), it looks as though not a whole lot has changed. Still with weekly updates the archive of content has grown from about 12,000 exclusive images to over 16,000 and the video section has grown to an impressive 200+, with the newest and coolest addition to the site being the ability to download super high quality videos (1000k+) and the wait is well worth it in the end. If you like your amateur content, you're bound to like what is here so I wouldn't recommend going with the trial option which recurs at a more expensive price than if you were to simply join at the base membership of $19.95 per month.

A lot has changed at Velvet Ecstasy in the last 8 months or so and I am proud to say that my main two cons the last review around have been addressed; there has been a total redesign of the member's area, adding many of search features including the ability to search by category and title rather then just by year. Another big accomplishment is that exclusive content is now being updated roughly twice per week with many more bonus content and features filling in in-between. Looking back, however, I think the quality of the content could be much better and image sizes are still rather small. Overall I like the direction the site is going but I'd love to see some better quality content here in the near future.
