VelvetEcstasy.com promises "explicit sex photos and videos of real couples and girls next door." Each week a new couple or girl is filmed in their studio having sex and getting a shot of "man milk" most commonly in the form of a facial. There is a definite emphasis on cumshots and quality on this site. I'm immediately struck by the absense of a gimmic here. No "sluts" are being "hunted," no "whores" are being "banged." It's just some pretty good looking normal people having sex. I'm quite curious to see where this goes and whether this can be kept up throughout the videos.
Each couple is introduced with a brief biography of their relationship, how they met, when they first had sex and what they enjoy doing to each other while having sex. If it is a single girl and not a couple, she is introduced individually before she is handed off for fun with Victor (the in-house stud). Underneath that are that pictures and videos taken during their photoshoot. I was relieved to find both actual pictures as well as video captures. Too often sites try to pass off the vidcaps as photos and they just aren't the same. The pictures were taken while the video was filming so obviously they will be similar. The pictures are offered at two sizes, the default 375x500 and enlarged at 768x1024. The photo quality is really good so it's nice to see them take advantage of that with the large sized pics. Anyhow, this is a video site so let's move on to the movies. You'll currently find around 143 videos currently available with a new one added weekly. Each video is around 16 minutes long and broken down into four short clips that can be either downloaded or streamed. Really, you must download them to get the full effect. When the videos are streamed they are much smaller and cannot be enlarged. When downloaded and played in Windows Media Player, you can watch the videos at full-screen and the quality is still top-notch! The videos are very clear and professionally done. High marks for quality.
The actual content of the videos is pretty different from what you'll find on most sites. While the majority of the videos just feature regular sex in a studio looking setting, it is the "stars" who make it different. I won't pressume to know whether or not these are actual couples. However, they sure look convincing to me. Rather than the unrealistic tongue flicks you see on porn movies, these couples are actually kissing, and very deeply. The partners seem very comfortable with each other and have what I would consider to be more normal dialogue during sex. Rather than "Oh yeah! Fuck my tight asshole!" they moan "Yeah, that feels good. Mm, a little higher." It may not be as dramatic as a regular porn movie but it sure seems more authentic to me. I enjoyed watching the videos because it seemed to me that the "stars" were enjoying themselves, as well.
There are also a good amount of bonus features to keep you busy. You'll find a few dozen quality 3rd party goodies here including photo galleries from Suze Randall and FTV Girls, videos from Viv Thomas and Homegrown, and enough ezines, games, cartoons and feeds to keep any member satisfied. This is a good collection of extras and it's clear that some thought went into the selection.
VelvetEcstasy.com is a quality site that has taken a unique approach to porn. The term "reality" has lost much of its meaning due to misuse by gimmicky "reality" porn sites which usually involve outlandish scenarious and unlikely sex situations. If it makes any sense, this site is more real than reality. They take two people (the number most commonly involved in sex) and often these people know each other ahead of time (again, how it usually happens in normal life) and they have sex. That sounds incredibly real to me. I think this site will appeal to surfers who are looking for a no gimmic, no B.S. porn experience. The quality and price are great for this kind of original content and I think this site brings the terms "amateur" and "reality" back to what they really mean.

You know, I forgot how much I enjoyed Velvet Ecstasy. The real people, the reasonable price, and the exclusive content all were pretty impressive to me during my initial review. I'm pleased to say that since then the site has gotten even better. The videos are now offered with two quality options, the larger being an awesome 1096k! It really looks great and can be easily viewed at full-screen. It's download only, so be prepared to spend a while collecting these high quality clips, but I think you'll find it well worth it.
Otherwise the site looks pretty much as we left it. The collection has grown to just under 200 videos and galleries which is quite respectable considering it's all exclusive content. This is a good site; I'm bumping up my quality score because of these nice new videos. I don't think there are many other sites out there offering this kind of high quality amateur porn and I definitely recommend checking it out.

Almost eight months have passed since our last visit to Velvet Ecstasy and things look good. The member's area has been redesigned and new browse features have been added (the ability to browse by category, date, or title) making this large site easy to navigate. Updates are also coming more frequently, along the lines of twice a week for their own exclusive content and if you include the bonus galleries then you'll find something new just about daily. Of course with the more frequent updates, the site continues to grow at a good pace. All in all, things are looking good at Velvet Ecstasy. I'm raising a couple scores for these new changes and would certainly recommend this site to fans of quality amateur videos.
