With a title like UK Naked Men it's pretty easy to grasp their concept. Actually what they offer is more than individual naked guys as the picture gallery and video content has a mix of both hardcore and solo shoots. Guy/guy hardcore and groupsex are just as much a part of the content as the solo material. A guest tour page called "The Men" will give you good insight into what their models and style are like.
The Goods:
- Exclusive UK Hardcore & Softcore. The content makes the grade by offering a good amount of both picture galleries and videos. Total amount of galleries is in the hundreds while there are over a hundred total videos as well. The British aspect really help provide an additional niche that helps separate this site from the crowd.
- Sharp Design & Layout, Model Index. The site design is probably the one area that stood out to me. The words that come to mind include clean and professional. Both the guest tour and member's area look excellent. Separate sections are available for browsing the pictures and videos with each having the ability to show all items, just solo, or just hardcore material. Date and rating sorting can also be done. A model index can be browsed alphabetically or by rating.
- Good Update Info & Vid File Details. Update information is posted across the site on every pic gallery and video entry. The member's main page highlights recent additions with lists showing hardcore vids, solo vids, hardcore photos, and solo photos. The pace seems to be a few items added per week. The vids are offered in high and average WMV files plus QT and Real Player. All are full-scene files with dimensions and files size (in MB) posted for each.
- Model Ratings, Forum, & Diary. These are the few content items that round out the site. A 5-star ratings system is used for ranking the models with member's having the ability to submit votes on the different content pieces. A forum provides a way to request types of shoots and give feedback. Diary and News pages include postings from the webmaster's point of view.
The Bads:
- Could Use Addt'l Sorting Features. There is room for additional navigation tool that would make things even more user-friendly. For instance the sorting options on the model index are limited to name and rating. With the amount of models and content they could use breakdown/filtering by physical characteristic. The model pages include some info like age, height, weight, cock size, and cut/uncut. These aren't clickable though and they should also bulk up these details and include more of a written summary about each guy.
- Not Enough Video Preview Thumbnails. When browsing the videos there is one video preview pic on the movie listing page plus usually one collage type thumbnail on the download page. Other than that they stick to a text summary and the vid file links. More preview screen captures would give members a chance to make better selections before downloading these files which can range into the 100-200 MB size.
Conclusion:
While it’s not a mega-site UK Naked Men does feature original content and plenty of it. It's a solid site without any glaring weaknesses to hold it back. Having started back in 2006 it's still a relatively young site but it has already established a respectable well-rounded collection of gay content. The professional site design is definitely a good foundation that serves them well in presenting what they have to members and guests.
