Today we're taking a look at a site called Twistys, who claims they have "only the hottest babes online." I went straight to the tour before reading about it because I was pretty excited to see some very limber chicks (who do gymnastics perhaps?). Instead, I found completely normal chicks who weren't twisting around at all. Why call it Twistys if the girls don't twist?? Ok maybe the dude who runs the site likes to be called Twisty, but who would guess that's a nickname? Come on, I can't be the only one here ;-)
What I really see here is a lot of stuff. I don't even really know where to begin. Check out their tour and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about. I see claims of 1,000+ models, 450,000+ pics, 8,500+ video clips, and daily updates. The member's splash page reflects all this content with long lists of recent additions, popular sets and models, upcoming sets and girls, news, and more. Thankfully, even though they have all this content, it's not a difficult site to get around.
There are a few ways to get to the content which I'll run down here. They have a model's index page which lets you browse by name, or lets you search if you prefer (by attributes such as height, age, country, and much more). From there you go to the model's page which lists all the sets she has (both photo and video). Another way to browse would be by the updates list, which is absolutely huge, where they give the set title, model(s), and the number of images. Finally, you can find models by votes of other users. About the only thing I felt was missing was a category search, to find solo vs. hardcore images for example (or any other number of things).
From what I've seen so far, there's not a ton of exclusive content. They focus on higher-quality content I think, but a lot of it can be seen elsewhere. What they lack here they make up in quantity, which is definitely worth something. They also seem to try to put quality images on the site as well. Every set I looked at had large, clear photos. The average was a little over 1024x768, with some sets falling on either side of that. They also have zip files available for each set which is a nice addition. For some reason, when you tried to download one, the page takes forever to pop up. I wouldn't be surprised if they are making the zip files on the fly, which would account for the delay. Once the page does load, you'll find I was correct ;-) Too bad they don't let you know they are "building your zip file" as the page says beforehand. The whole process usually takes about a minute to complete, and then you still have to download it (which, thankfully, goes quickly).
Their "video section" is just their model's index page with the option checked to only search for models with videos. Still, I'm glad the option is there as it makes things much easier. Videos are offered in three formats, and can be viewed in clips or by full video. Each video may have different video types for some reason, but they're all mainstream options. There's usually a Quicktime and Windows Media version, plus either an MPG or Real Video version of each. At first, I thought they all played only in your browser. But on that page that plays the video, there's a text link up top that allows you to download it. Unfortunately download speeds were a little slow (around 110KB/sec) which is strange since the zip file downloads were pretty quick (400KB/sec). Perhaps they're on a different server or something? The MPG clips are usually around 352x240 and 750kbps. The quality was good, and even full screen was decent (with a few artifacts of course). The Windows Media options looked just as good, if not a little better (even with worse specs of 320x240 and 400kbps on average). Full screen was watchable for sure which surprised me. Great options in the video section here.
Besides that, if you still need more, all they can offer up is some stories. Still, there's so much to see, I don't think you'll need to get to that section at all. For $20 a month, you're really getting your money's worth here. Besides all the stuff they have online now, their minimum daily update includes four photosets and a video (with all clips online immediately). Some days it's even larger! The site does just about everything right, from nice-looking pictures to great download options. The server was a little slow at times, but that could be a temporary problem. The only other thing I'd look for is more exclusive content, and an easy way to distinguish it from the rest.
One thing to note is that they're beta testing a new member's area, which looks even better than the current one. With a fresh look, cleaner design, and more features, it's sure to be an even better site when it goes online.

It's pretty safe to say that I liked this site a lot last time we were here. With the new member's area fully up and running, it's also safe to say that I still feel the same today! The site (somehow) has grown tremendously since last time, and with four new sets a day it's not hard to see why. The video section has grown quite a bit as well.
I complained about server speed a bit last time, and I didn't see any problems at all here today. The only other bad news is a slight price increase to $25 a month, which still isn't too bad a site. You get a ton, on a fun site, and if you don't mind non-exclusive content, I think it's definitely worth a look here.

Hey, hey! Maybe someone is actually reading these reviews, as a complaint from last time has been solved - and the best news is it's just for our loyal users. We've secured an exclusive price of $20 a month (which represents a $5 a month savings off their normal price). That gets it back to where it was when we first looked at this site.
Otherwise, things look much the same around here (which is actually a good thing). I'm not sure exactly how they grow so much so fast (okay, I have an idea), but since last time we were here they've added more content than a lot of sites have in their entirety. All my other comments still stand, and I think it's a great join if you think you might enjoy the content they have.
Score remains at 87.7.

Man, Twistys just looks better and better as time goes on. People should take note here on how to do things right, even if you use a lot of non-exclusive content. Their numbers are still sky-high of course, as the site continues to grow daily. Quality is up as well with pictures getting quite large, and videos looking as good as most any site out there these days. The new "power search" feature is cool to help you find specific types of models, or specific stuff in a photo or video set. With a collection this large, you need all the help you can get to find content, so it's great to see them innovating in that area.
As far as where to go for Twistys, that's getting tougher these days. I like the addition of more exclusive content lately, as that'll help give them a little edge on some other similar sites. Some high-definition videos would rock as well, though that arena is quite new these days. I like all the changes they've been adding over the years, and it's good to see them always striving to be better. I'm sure the future will hold more of the same.
