Trixie's Houseboy is a site that is in partnership with Tasty Trixie and DeliaCD which have both been reviewed by TBP. The houseboy here is Tucker and right off I need to lay out that he has shifted to shooting content for his cross-dressing DeliaCD site. So Trixie's Houseboy remains a collection of content shot of Tucker over the course of several years as a 'standard' guy. For a small network of sites Trixie, Tucker, and Amber Lily (the other amateur in the mix) certainly have lots of unique stuff going on and this review will obviously focus just on what the Trixie's Houseboy has to offer.
The Goods:
- Original Solo Guy Content Collection. The content here dates back to 2003 so they have a sizable amount of stuff available to members. Looking through the galleries and videos there is some good creativity with lots of stripping, posing, and masturbation in all sorts of different outfits and locations. In addition to the pics and vids there is an archive of Tucker's journal postings along with webcam material. The creativity, exclusivity, and amateur nature of the content are the main selling points.
- Balanced Amount of Pictures & Videos. This is one thing that jumped out at me right away. Lots of time amateur sites can take the easy way out and focus on adding pictures and not put the same effort into the movies section. Trixie's Houseboy has about an equal number of galleries and videos so they did a good job in terms of keeping things balanced.
- Content Date Added Info, Vid Specs/Sizes. These are the pieces of content data that are posted on the site. The individual galleries and videos are date-stamped with update details which is commendable especially since Tucker has stopped producing content here. The bulk of the videos are WMV and they have file size info shown along with resolution specs.
The Bads:
- No More Updates, Tucker Now on DeliaCD Site. With Tucker now modeling as Delia CD that means Trixie's Houseboy has grown rather stagnant in terms of updates. Fortunately Tucker did compile a sizable number of shoots over the years and they're clear about what's going on with a statement on the member's home page.
- Basic Navigation, Lots of Scrolling. The navigation and design isn't really anything to write home about. This particularly is an issue on the picture gallery and video pages where the content is simply listed on long lists. That makes for a whole lot of scrolling and there isn't any way to filter or search for different types of material.
- Avg Vid Quality, Some Real Player Vids. The WMV files are average quality but they are full-movie files that can be downloaded or streamed in a stand-alone player. Some of the oldest movies are in Real Player only so that's something worth noting as well.
Conclusion:
Trixie's Houseboy is definitely one type of situation that I haven't run across as a reviewer before. The houseboy Tucker changing to a full time cross-dresser and modeling for a network-included site but still having the old collection online. Certainly the lack of updates is an issue but that is balanced by the fact that there is a decent archive available plus the bonus sites are included.
