Hitting up Toy Desire, it looks like a pretty typical paysite tour, focusing on girls with toys of course. They give you a few thumbs to let you get a glimpse of what's inside, and they claim the content is all exclusive, though if I had a guess of my own, I wouldn't have guessed that was the case. Membership has been dropped down to just $10 a month for our readers, which definitely is a nice way to start the review off.
The goods:
- Daily updates. I'd say this aggressive update schedule and the price are the best thing going for the site here. The add something new every day, with videos coming only about 1/5 times at best.
- Great, exclusive price. Normally they charge $18 a month for access to the site, which isn't too bad of a deal right there. However, they dropped it to just $10 a month if you're reading this, which makes it an awesome deal!
- Pictures looks decent. They're nothing awesome, but they look better than the videos do for me at least. They're usually clear and bright at a minimum, which is better than some sites.
The bads:
- Downloads were slow. They came in about 1/3 of our normal download speed, which only really mattered if you were downloading the video. Their streaming server worked right away for me, so it's not a huge problem, but something that could be better.
- Not enough videos. In comparison to their large photo count, I was surprised to see they only had 28 videos online currently. With daily updates, they could do a lot better than that.
- My guess is non-exclusive content. They claim it's exclusive on the tour, but it really doesn't look that way to me. At a minimum, you're going to see some familiar faces and scenes that may be technically exclusive to the site, but my guess is that's not even the case.
- Site hasn't grown as much as I thought it would. I was here over a year and a half ago, and they just haven't grown that much for offering daily updates. At a minimum there'd be 450+ more galleries and videos than before, which obviously isn't the case. I suspect they may take old content off at times, which makes the daily update schedule not quite as exciting.
Conclusion:
Overall, Toy Desire is a pretty basic site with a few fun features. The price and update schedule definitely stand out, while the rest is pretty standard. I'm not sure on exclusivity, and I'm not sure if they rotate old content off. Either way, you get a decent amount of stuff for the money (especially with some other similar sites included in the network) that it may be worth a look if you don't mind the shortcomings.
