Totally Blondes is up for review today, and this looks like a pretty generic site that offers anything and everything to do with blonde women. There's solo, lesbian, hardcore, teen, mature, and more represented here. It's part of the 18 Passport network of sites, and is setup pretty similar to their other sites that I've seen in the past, so you may know what to expect already. A whopping $35 a month gets you in the door, but full network access at least.
The Pros
Lots of content up.
With over 5,600 photo galleries, and over 650 videos, big numbers are a big deal here it seems. It definitely makes sense with the type of content they offer that they'd want as much of it as possible online. Hopefully, with so much to see, you can find a few things you like here.
Daily updates.
I don't know if they're on a set schedule or anything, but the last week saw 10 new additions. Seven of those were photo galleries, and three new videos were added as well. It goes right along witht he big numbers they post.
Decent HD video collection.
It only makes up about 20% of their total video collection, but at least there's something a little different here. They have some nice high definition videos to check out. Keep in mind that the HD quality is probably slightly below the average HD we see, though it doesn't look bad at all.
Other Good Stuff:
They offer two streaming options in flash and WMV (the WMV even has two quality levels). The movie starts quite quickly if you choose the flash option.
Network access is included here, in case you need some extra content with your membership.
The Cons
Mostly non-exclusive content.
They don't really mention anything either way, but a solid majority of this content is quite generic and non-exclusive. It's just not that exciting. Even if you've never seen that specific set before, it feels like you have because of the dated content. The only part I'm not sure about is the HD section, but that's no guarantee that is exclusive either.
Navigation is a pain.
With so much to see, you really need some kind of advanced site setup in place to help you find things. As it stands, they have confusing categories, no search, and not even a models index to browse through. It's just too much work to get around.
Most quality needs work.
Once you get out of the HD section, the quality goes downhill pretty quickly. Everything already feels dated, and the quality of the content goes along with that as well. Pictures vary a ton, but can be poor in terms of coloring and clarity. The same goes for videos as well.
Minor Negatives:
This site is too expensive for what you get. I complain about paying $35 a month on a great site even, let alone one that didn't excite me a ton.
Bottom Line
A very generic site overall that just doesn't quite live up to other similar sites, or the high cost.
I have a tough time with any sites that use generic, non-exclusive material these days. Unfortunately, Totally Blondes fits right into that category. The content is just so over-used that it's not even that fun as everything feels like it's been seen before, even if it's new to me. The site layout is pretty bad as well, with confusing links, and nothing in the way of navigation features or anything. Quality isn't great, either, and the high price is another bad sticking point. The only good things here are the big numbers, network access, and frequent updates. However, it's really tough to compete when you're content isn't that exciting, as that's the main thing people are looking for I think.
