As I'm not a huge animated porn fan, I was pretty happy to see that Torrid Art is 100% real girls with some nice photography action going on. You can browse through a few samples to get an idea of the girls and locations they offer, and get a small glimpse into the type of photography they offer as well. There are no videos, but those can always come in time I guess. For now the site is a bit small, but the price tag is decent at $20 a month if you choose the recurring option.
The goods:
- Nice photographic quality. I personally prefer outdoor shoots with my artistic photography, which isn't really the focus here (it's mostly done indoors). However, you can't complain about the natural girls, great lighting, and interesting pictures at all. Pictures go all the way up to 4000x2667 as well, so you can see everything in all its glory.
- All exclusive content. All the content comes straight from the photographer, Ryder Aedan Perry, and I assume it's all exclusive. They have a small blurb in their tour indicating it is, and I doubt he'd open up a website if he sold this stuff to other sites already.
- Updates come pretty regularly. Every 2-3 days, another half of a photoset is added, keeping things relatively fresh. Of course I wish it was a full set coming that often, but you can't complain too much.
- Good photo options. Each photo comes in four size options (from 600x400 all the way up to 4000x2667), and the same four size options are also available in a zip file download as well.
The bads:
- Small site for now. There are just 35 models online, with an average of 260 pictures per model right now. At 11,208 pictures total currently, and with each set containing around 80-85 pictures, I'm estimating about 130-140 total picture galleries online only. There are no videos either, which isn't helping.
- No videos. I understand it's a photography site of course, but I don't see much harm throwing up even some behind the scenes videos to appease those of us who enjoy seeing a girl move and groove with motion.
- All photosets broken into two updates. All it really does it clutter things up a bit, and make the updates seem a little slower than they are. I'd probably rather have the full set come online at once, with slightly fewer actual updates personally.
Conclusion:
I think Torrid Art is off to a decent start here. The models are fresh and real, the photography is nice, and they do as much as they can with what they've got. I'd love to see them get some major growth going, but that should just take some time. It's not perfect, but I like what I see so far.
