Torrid Art is an erotic photography collection of Ryder Aedan Perry. This type of glamour site from individual photographers has increased in number over the years. Actually, sites like Torrid Art are an excellent way for pros like Perry to showcase their work and sell it directly to the public without working for a third party publication or company. Torrid Art's guest tour pages highlight what they have to offer with a full model index and samples from all the girls. A few minutes of browsing will let you know what they are all about.
The Goods:
- Ultra High-Res Erotic Pics, Zip Files. This is a key to the foundation of any softcore erotic photography site. If you're going to go the route of erotic nude shoots then it's necessary to put in the effort to provide high-res content. Torrid Art excels at this by having very high-re 4000k pics plus four other picture sizes too (ranging from high-res to average quality). Each of the sizes can be browsed online or downloaded as zip files.
- Clean Design w/ Model Index. The site design is well done with tasteful graphics and an easy-to-use navigation system. Monthly/yearly logs are available for browsing the material chronologically plus a model index is available too. There are also quick drop down boxes to find models by name, hair color, or ethnicity/category.
- Update Log, Articles, & Blogs. The site updates a few times every week and a page tracks the last couple of months additions. Articles and blogs round out the material available to members. This doesn't constitute a large amount of stuff but the writings are pretty well done and it's something the site operators seem to care about.
The Bads:
- Could Use More Models, Continued Growth. As a reviewer I've seen a whole lot of erotic photography sites so it's a competitive niche. Torrid Art has shoots dating back to 2006 so they're a rather young site with room to grow. Expanding the number of models is a key since they don't have a huge number of different girls.
- No Video Content, Only Pictures. Clearly this site is the brainchild of an erotic photographer and picture are his forte. However, surfers basically expect some form of video content from paysites nowadays and it's always a shock when a site has no movies at all. Based on the know-how shown in the photography here I'll bet these guys could shoot some fun erotic movies with their models and I'd like to see them add that dimension to the site.
Conclusion:
Torrid Art is a tidy all exclusive collection of sexy models in erotic shoots. The most important aspect to the content is the high-res pictures and numerous pic sizes with zip files. For fans of glamour softcore shoots this is another source for new material. The deficiencies are that they have decided to forego having video content and the total number of models in on the small side.
