Intro

Torbe is a network that has a pretty unique feel. So many pornsite networks out there can seem repetitive but these guys have their own style. I see their tagline is actually "one of a kind" and that is applicable. Torbe has foreign performers, creative site themes, and this Torbe dude who kind of looks like a knock-off of Ron Jeremy. The guest tour offers a summary of the different included sites which gives a decent snap-shot of what's available.

The Pros

Sizable Network, Foreign Models & Creative Concepts.

Torbe has a good number of sites under their umbrella which means they do pretty well in terms of quantity. The entertainment value comes from the foreign performers and the site themes. Sites include things like Motorhome Bangs, Street Bribes, Josito's Will, Torbe CZ, Torbe in Russia, etc. There are also more straightforward themes as well as solo model collections. You'll also find the 'Torbe dude' (as I call him) in some of the content.

Nice Video Quality, Full-Shoot Files & Other Options.

Torbe does well by having a wide array of video viewing/downloading options. These include full-shoot WMV files (for highest quality) along with MPEG, QT, and iPod/PSP formats. MPEG clip segments (50MB each) are another download choice. In-browser Flash streaming is also available.

The member's main page has a summary of recent additions and the sites in general A "Browse Content" page has a listing of all the individual sites and they highlight any new additions to the network. An "Our Girls" page has thumbnail images of the different models linking to sites where they can be found. The update page has a list of newly added sites, exclusive content, and bonus material.

Other Good Stuff:

Flash streaming is available for each episode in addition to the download options.
Galleries and videos are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site.
Foreign performers speak English with an accent or foreign languages with subtitles.
Clear file size information is posted for each movie.

The Cons

Some Sites Have a Small Collection of Episodes.

The amount of content does vary from site-to-site. While browsing around the collection I did run into the occasional site that only had a handful of entries. None of the sites have what would be considered and overwhelming amount of content.

Inconsistent Updates, Gaps on Some Sites.

The update information is clearly shown on each episode across the collection and there is a dedicated network update page. The consistency really varies on the different sites. This contributes to some sites having a small number of shoots. Some sites see several months pass in between updates.

Busy Design, Model Browsing is Not Well Done.

Torbe's model index page is a navigation tool they've put in place but it needs some work. There is no way to sort the models or search for different characteristics. Also, the girl's links pull up only the site where she appears and don't go through to the exact episode page.

Minor Negatives:

Some older shoots have MPEG, not WMV for highest quality level. These have two quality levels of MPEG instead of the WMV and MPEG choices.
Little model or shoot details are posted in the network or episode pages.
There are some upsells in the member's area.

Bottom Line

Torbe Network has exclusive sites featuring some creative site concepts & foreign performers.

The thing that makes Torbe stand out from other networks is the variety of the niche sites and the different themes throughout the collection. They do really well in terms of video viewing/download choices too. They are steadily growing the network as a whole but individual sites can see lengthy waits between updates. The navigation could also be smoothed over a bit.
