Intro

Teen Mega World Mobile is up for review today (aka TMW Mobile, aka TeenMegaWorld Mobile), which is the mobile version of the Teen Mega World network of sites. Here they offer all of their content in one place available for viewing on your mobile device. I'll be checking out the site both on my main Mac, as well as my iPhone 4S using wifi. $20 a month gets you in the door thanks to a special discount for our users, and that also gets you full access to the main versions of the sites included.

The Pros

Nice, large collection.

There was a lot more here than I was expecting to see, honestly. They have scenes from over two dozen sites from what I see, so I guess it adds up. Their current counts put them at over 1,400 videos up currently, which is great. You can spend quite a bit of time here and not run into any repeats.

Updates come in often.

I don't think there's a set schedule or anything, but expect around 4-5 new scenes per week, which is pretty good. No wonder their site got so large. Hopefully they can continue that going forward to really keep those numbers up.

Other Good Stuff:

The content seems to be all exclusive here from what I can tell.

The Cons

Navigation is pretty weak.

They really falter here in terms of getting around the site. There's just a huge, long list to go through and hope that you find something you like. You can't filter by site, category, or anything else. You can jump around to any of the 354 pages, but that doesn't help a ton in my opinion.

Only one video option.

Everything just comes in a single MP4 video option, which definitely works, but I think they could do more. At least offer maybe two quality levels, or another video type or something. I just think the options are lacking all around here.

Minor Negatives:

While they have videos, there are no photo galleries here at all, which may disappoint some.
Of course, they're optimized for viewing on a small mobile device, but the quality isn't that great here, even for iPod-type videos.

Bottom Line

A lot to see at a decent price, but the options are fewer than on most mobile sites.

Teen Mega World Mobile provides a large collection of exclusive content all setup for your mobile device, so in that regard, they've done well. However, the options are so limited here that it definitely seems pretty weak compared to some other mobile sites out there. It should work fine, for most people, at least. But downloads only come in a single option, browsing is accomplished by random luck mostly. Updates come often, and you do get access to the main versions of the sites. Overall, you get a lot, but a few more features would really help.
