The Pain Files is a bdsm site featuring “severe SM pictures & videos.” They promise “real pain” for these “real slaves” who are treated to some very painful punishment. Clothespins on the nipples are just the beginning. Try mousetraps on their lips, needles through their clits, and hot wax on their asses. These slaves look like they’re in genuine pain as they’re tortured over and over again. The preview pictures had me squirming in my seat so it was hard to imagine how the pain could get worse inside, yet somehow it did.
The Goods –
This is all extreme exclusive fetish material. You’re not going to find these intense scenes anywhere else. They keep the action varied and you're always wondering how the model can stand the pain they put her through.
Updates come often and they’re usually good sized. New material is added twice a week and each update typically includes three or so sets. There’s almost always something new to see (more, however, on this below).
The videos look nice and sharp. The high resolution clips play at 2000k and can easily be enjoyed at full-screen. They really looked hot. Photo quality is also pretty good with nice large images but the video is really where the collection shines.
The Bads –
There really aren’t enough browse features. You can view the newest sets on their index page or view the models and then view their sets but that’s about it. A search box and/or categories would be great additions. I’d love to be able to view all the sets that feature wax or electrocution or what have you. As the site grows, these features will definitely be needed.
Along a similar line, the design is pretty plain. It’s mostly pink text and yellow links on a black background. Nothing about the design struck me as aesthetically interesting in the least.
All of the content here, both videos and photos, are divided into short segments for each update. A single gallery may have ten or more sections, each added individually. It may take you a month to see the end of a gallery. This bothers me for two reasons. First, it makes it look as though the site is being updated very frequently when if you broke it down to actual galleries being added, it’s not more than an average site. Second, who has the patience to wait a month to see how a set ends?
Conclusion –
For its quality and very extreme content, The Pain Files is definitely worth a look for bondage and pain fetishists. It’s not cheap, at $30 a month, but I imagine that producing these wild scenes isn’t cheap either. I have a few significant issues with the site itself, but the content exceeded my expectations. Hopefully they can improve the site now that they have the content in the bag.
