Okay, if there's one place I think I never want to show up at sometime, it's an English Dungeon. Now today we have to look at a site with that exact title, so you can imagine how scared I am. At least these girls can't kick my ass through the computer or something... can they? The site looks very simple and basic, and it has a very amateur look to it. The price caught me by surprise though at $35 a month, which isn't cheap by any means. Hopefully our hostess, Sidonia von Bork, can make our stay worthwhile.
After parting with all that money, you can hit the member's link which doesn't require a user/pass (that always weirds me out at first). Anything beyond that and you'll need good login info though. The photo galleries are basically in a long text list, divided up into some categories. The different sections help you find something specific, but finding a gallery you know you'll like will require some clicking around unfortunately. There's also no master chronological list of updates or anything, which is usually my preferred method of browsing.
When browsing through the galleries, you actually have to click twice to get to the full photos (once on the thumbnail, and again on the medium-sized picture). The actual photos you get can be pretty small, in the 600x450 range which surprised me (especially at the price). Others come in at the standard 800x600 which is better. Both of them have a "new" icon next to them, so I'm not sure why there's the size discrepancy. The actual sets are small as well, with most only having 25 pictures or so total.
Videos are spread out into a few categories, which makes browsing through the more difficult. They usually come in two formats, Windows Media and Real Video. They have low-quality clips, and a high-quality full-scene download as well. They look decent, though not fantastic, and with so many clips available probably make up the main content of the site. They have some symbols you should learn (to notate what the video contains), and give quite a bit of info on them.
You've also got lots of extras, with stories, comics, a diary, a slave training program, and more to keep you busy. The biggest problem here is the site itself, which is comprised of mostly text and is difficult to get around. The high price hurts as well, but at least you get a decent amount of content for it. They put up some new content every month, but also seem to remove older stuff as well. A mixed bag here, but probably better for those of you who enjoy the material more.

Well, there's a big obvious change here in the name of the website itself. What used to be called The English Dungeon has expanded to the The English Mansion to better reflect all the stuff they offer. Inside the site though, much looks similar as it did last time. This means they have some good goods, and some bad bads. There's a bit of consusion about the size of their site; we thought they were rotating old content off. This apparently isn't true, and is just due to a different way of categorizing things on their end. Hopefully next time we take a look, the growth will be a lot more clear for us to report on since updates come often it seems. It's still expensive, and the site itself could really use a redesign now. But, they offer up a lot of exclusive content in a good niche which is definitely worth something. For the price, I expect a lot and got a good bit of my expecations met, but there's still a little room for improvement.

Well it's business as usual at the mansion, not Hugh's place, but The English Mansion. Thankfully the updates confusion has cleared up, and they've continued to grow over the last year which is pretty easy to see now. Honestly, not a lot has changed here from what I can tell. The price is still high, they still need a redesign in my opinion, the content is still pretty nice and remains all exclusive fetish material of course. I think the videos have been switched up a bit providing slightly better quality, which is always good to see. Overall though, much of the original reviews remain, and The English Mansion is still a pretty decent destination!
