The English Dungeon is "Mistress Sidonia von Bork's Domain". I mention that only because I think Sidonia von Bork is a cool name. The best way I can describe the design and guest tour on this site is "busy". There's just a lot going on with text, content samples, graphics, etc. It's not the most surfer-friendly layout and that applies to the member's area as well as the guest tour. However, after a while of browsing I found myself getting more comfortable with the site, the navigation worked fine for me once I read up on what each section has to offer.
Fetish and BDSM fans will want to give The English Dungeon a good look. The content, I'm mostly referring to the videos, are original and feature lots of fun fetishes, bondage, and punishment. Right away this site sets itself apart from many other fetish sites we've reviewed because here men are getting punished by women. A lot of fetish sites have chicks as the subjects; this site's content is geared towards dudes who like to watch mistresses torture men. And torture them is exactly what they do, these mistresses aren't pulling any punches. Stuff I saw in the videos includes whipping, paddling, bondage, dick/ball torture, nipple clamps, trampling, suffocation, latex, electric butt plugs, urethra stretching, and more. Considering there are around 250 vids, there's a lot of action to see and I really enjoyed the intensity of the scenes.
The photo galleries aren't as interesting as the videos. The galleries are a little tough to navigate and pics just can't match the entertainment value of video punishment. The quality of the pics is only average anyways, nothing overly impressive. I found the MPEG audio files (a section called "Voice") to be more fun than the pics and nearly as interesting as the videos. There are about 27 clips at about 2-5 minutes in length. The English accents of the ladies are somewhat mesmerizing, I'm usually not big on audio clips but it's one of the coolest parts of this site. The member stories, comic strip, horoscopes, and other content bits aren't too shabby either.
So to sum up I dig the videos and some of the other content extras, the pictures are only average. No for the biggest negative - the price. At $34.95/mo recurring ($39.95/mo non-recurring) The English Dungeon is one of the more expensive paysites around. Usually prices like that are found on old school sites that offer a cheap trial to get you in the door. Even with that price hanging over its head I still think enthusiasts of mistresses punishing dudes will find membership worth the money. The videos do deliver the type of action serious fetish fans want to see.

The English Mansion remains a good choice for fans of mistresses inflicting pain and pleasure on their male subjects. The craziness and level of torture came flooding back to me as I browsed the video sections. These chicks make me cringe with their ball torture, nipple scorching, whipping, etc. I have no doubt BDSM lovers will really dig this stuff. The best thing about this site remains the exclusivity and intensity of their BDSM collection. The inner workings of the site remain just about the same, except that they've condensed the vids so all the parts for each movie are listed together instead of listing each clip as if it were a separate movie. Taking this into account means their 230+ videos is a substantial number. It still may take a couple minutes to get acquainted with the navigation but after that there's plenty to see. Something that hasn't changed is the price which is still quite expensive.

We've been pretty consistent with our review schedule of The English Mansion. The initial review was completed in early '05 and a follow-up was done about a year later. Now another year later it's time for a third look. Once again it didn't take me long at all to remember this site. They continue to have entertaining fetish shoots with the total number of videos now reaching just about 300 (as of Feb '07). A new feature seems to be full-movie files for downloading in addition to the clips. This is a very nice feature to see added. These files tend to be in the 100-250MB range but I see at least one episode that's nearly double that size. The negatives here simply remain the high price and busy design.
