Intro

The Black Alley is up for review today, and this site has nothing to do with black/ebony women, which kinda surprised me. It's actually an Asian site, featuring solo women showing off their bodies and playing with themselves in pretty high-quality content. If you were a fan of Asian4You, this seems to be the next iteration of that, with many of the same photographers involved, and even some of their old sets. $30 a month gets you in the door here, which I guess is pretty standard.

The Pros

Pretty large collection.

The size of the site definitely impressed me here. They have around 169 models total, and each of the models has several hundred photos each. Add in the 350 videos, and you've got yourself quite a collection. Plus, it's growing often, so the numbers should continue to go up.

Pictures look quite nice.

While the videos look just regular good, the photos look really good. They're not huge, but they're a good size at 2000x1333. Plus, they are always well-lit, colorful, and sharp. I could do without the airbrushing seen at times, but it fits with the style pretty well, and it's not overly obnoxious.

Updates come regularly.

This past week they added seven new photo galleries, and two new videos, which is good enough for me. They're right on target of where they need to be in my opinion (though more is always better I suppose), and it should help their site continue to grow nicely.

Other Good Stuff:

Their content is exclusive here as far as I can tell.

The Cons

Navigation isn't great.

This was the one big bummer here. First, there are no real features such as a search or category tag; I think, with their size, they should really consider implementing something like this to give things a kickstart. Even worse, you can't just browse their photos in chronological order. You can see some like this in their updates section, but it's not their whole collection. For photos, you have to browse by model to see everything, which isn't ideal.

Minor Negatives:

They do offer a small model bio, but nothing in terms of scene descriptions here. They definitely felt like they were missing, and it would add a nice bit of personality to the collection.
For some reason, they don't offer any streaming or Flash videos, which may annoy some.

Bottom Line

Great content and sexy models on a so-so site.

The Black Alley is pretty impressive, if a bit simple. The models are sexy, and that flows into the content they offer as well. They have a high-end feel to their shoots, though they don't mind getting a little kinky with finger fucking and toy play. There's also a decent amount to see, and frequent updates, which are both great to see. As for things to change and improve on, the navigation isn't that good, and I'd love to see even higher-quality videos. The site is just a bit too plain, especially in terms of navigation, but also in video options a bit as well. If they could re-do things a bit in that area, I think things would be a lot better here. Thankfully the content is good, so they have a great base to build from.
