Hitting up the tour for Teenrotica for the first time, I was pretty impressed with the site; it was definitely not anything like I thought it was going to be. I was expecting a colorful, dorky, generic teen site without much in the way of perks, but I was wrong. They were boasting about exclusive content, impressive specs, and just a nice, classy look and feel to the site all around. The price isn't even awful at $20 a month, so I'm pretty excited to jump inside and see what they have to offer.
The goods:
- Good-looking, all-exclusive content. You can find pretty large pictures (2000x1333) that look great all around here which is always a nice start. On top of that, they shoot all their own content which is even more impressive since they're adding new stuff daily. This is a great foundation for a site right here to build off of.
- Updates come daily. There is a new photoset put up each and every day, and I think a new video is added weekly (which I wouldn't mind seeing more of obviously). This should help this newer site grow into a bigger site fairly quickly.
- Good site options all around. You have multiple photo sizes to choose from, can grab a zip file for each gallery, have three options for video downloads, and can search by model, theme, age, hair, bra size, and country. I like having choices so I can browse the way I want to browse, not the way you want me to browse.
The bads:
- Site still new, needs more growth. It's not a small, tiny site at all, but it will definitely be better next time we're here once it's had a chance to grow some more. The video section will be the toughest part since it's not updated as often, and is already on the small side compared to the photos.
- Some small site errors here and there for me at times. I tried a couple different browsers but ran into some weird little glitches here and there. Sometimes when trying to open a large photo, the thumbnail jumps around and I'm stuck with the smallest photo as the only choice. One time a menu on the left loaded and then disappeared due to a "missing object" error that took away my search that time. Little glitches like this can pop up on higher-end sites, but it sure makes browsing annoying when they happen.
- Site speed is an issue for now. Loading thumbs on a page isn't awful, but it's not as fast as I'd expect. However, video downloads are very slow and it's definitely a problem for now. I was getting about 1/10 of our full internet speed which is just too slow, and needs to be addressed for sure.
Conclusion:
They have a solid foundation of basics here for sure, and I look forward to seeing them grow and mature down the road. The few small problems here for now are fixable, if not immediately then at least in some time (with updates) - so the potential is there for sure. I like seeing new sites set the bar high and stick to their guns with all their options.
