Teen Dreams has been around a long time. We've reviewed them several times, and each time they seem to have had something new to impress us with. They have a ton of content, a lot of which is non-exclusive, but their exclusive collection has been growing steadily as well. They charge our readers $20 a month, as opposed to the $30 price tag for normal users. As with most sites this size, quality can vary, and navigation is always tough. Let's check in and see how they're doing these days!
The goods:
- Tons of content. Check out their content counts and you'll see what I mean with almost 8,500 photo shoots and almost 1,000 videos online currently. Granted it's not all exclusive material, but you can't argue with those numbers.
- Lots of updates. Five days a week they add six new sets it looks like. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, half of the photo updates are replaced by video updates totaling six new videos per week and 24 new photosets per week. Not too shabby!
- Site is better than expected. The design looks good for being a bit simple, and the browsing options are actually pretty decent too. You can browse chronologically of course, by model, through their search engine, or by content type (solo, lesbian, hardcore, etc.).
- Quality can be good. It varies, but I saw some videos in the 720x576 and 3000kbps range which is better than usual. There's always room for improvement, but things can look decent here depending.
The bads:
- Older content obviously not as good. What can you do with older content besides leave it up really? Sure it drags down the overall quality, but it's better to have it than not if you ask me. Still, some sets you find here aren't quite up to par these days.
- Only one video option available. More video options is the one thing really missing from here, as they only have one video choice per clip. There are no quality options, no smaller clips, and no second video type ever.
- Hard to tell exclusive vs. non-exclusive content. I'd love if they put some kind of icon on the exclusive sets, or had an option in their search to find them, or perhaps just put it all in its own section. Either way, it's tough to guess on exclusivity at this point without some kind of marker.
Conclusion:
Overall Teen Dreams is a pretty solid teen megasite. They've improved a bit over the years, and navigation and the site overall is looking better than ever. The content is decent, and I'm hoping the exclusive content selection is still growing. The lower price tag helps a bit too, and if you're up for some pretty standard teen material, they should at least be on your short list.
