PROS:

Several sites in the Indian niche have come across my review list in recent months and Tawaif is another of those. I guess technically its Pakistani but our directory lists it in the Indian section. The guest tour gives a quick definition of the title and little else other than small thumbnails of the videos. Links titled "Play Sample Videos" simply took me to the join page so I was unable to get much from the tour. The member’s area looks identical to the tour with an additional updates page giving access to the videos downloads. They're current update pace is 3 new DVDs per month.

The content collection isn't large at 27 DVDs but it is awfully distinctive. What first struck me is the lack of nudity; just about all these scenes are very softcore with fully clothed Indian ladies. Instead the action revolves around authentic dancing complete with appropriate music. From my perspective the dancing ranges from erotic to more straightforward cultural routines with less sex appeal. Just about every scene has some catchy music though. I'm not familiar with the whole Pakistani philosophy on porn but compared to the hardcore and softcore stuff I'm used to reviewing Tawaif's content is on the fringe of not quite being porn because of the lack of nudity. Credit is due to the dancing of the girls though; some of them get downright funky and can be a kick to watch. Remember though; don't go joining Tawaif looking for naked tits and ass 'cause it just ain't here.

The videos are okay quality and each movie is broken into multiple clips. Each clip is just a few minutes long so streaming or downloading are both quick enough. Some vids have multiple preview images and there are also a good number with just one sample pic. It'd be better if they were more consistent on this. On the ones without preview pics you gotta start streaming and downloading clips without really knowing what's coming. That always annoys me. They could also use more consistency in the formatting; right now they've got a mix of MPEGs and AVI.

I guess the technical name for the action here is PUNJABI kudis. This type of clothed solo dancing is a new one to this porn reviewer so that's definitely the most important aspect to the site. It's a unique style of adult content that you should be aware of and consider before joining. On the quantity front the overall number of videos isn't a lot but that's balanced by the low monthly membership cost.
