Sweet Members is a network that is well established in that it's been around for a number of years. In fact I remember stuff from this company from about a decade back so they're well entrenched in the business. This is one of those networks with such a mix of sites that it's hard to nail down exactly what one or two niche categories it best fits into. There some general hardcore BJ and banging but the site concepts really lean towards extreme sex and fetishes like pissing, fisting, gagging, etc. While the guest tour doesn't give you a feel for the member's area layout they do have splash pages for the bulk of the included sites which does provide a feel for what the collection entails.
The Pros
Large Network of Exclusive Content, Lots of Fetishes/Extreme Themes.
The three main things that stand out about Sweet's collection are the size with many site and lots of total episodes, exclusivity, and the mix of extreme and fetish content. There isn't one dominant theme in play as there is a pretty even mix of boy/girl hardcore action, extreme sex concepts, and fetish content. As I said in my intro the company has been around for a number of years and they have sizable database of content available because of that.
WMV, MPEG, MOV, Formats on New Vids, Some w/ Full-Scene Files.
There have been a few different incarnations of movie formats on the network and the newer additions have noticeably better choices in terms of both formats and quality levels. The formats include WMV, MPEG, and MOV for downloading and Flash for in-browser streaming. Some have both clip segments and full-scene files available.
Good Download Speeds, Lots of Video File Size & Spec Details.
The download speeds I experienced were very good and better than I'm used to seeing from the majority of paysites. On my 20MB connection the downloads averaged 1MB/sec which is solid. The biggest full-movie files come in around 500-600MB and the clips and lower formats are smaller than that so saving movies went pretty quickly.
Other Good Stuff:
Streaming option on newere videos is Flash which buffers quickly. Two quality levels are available with full-scenes or clip segments.
Some sites do clearly have recent updates with specific date info shown for those episides.
The Cons
Inconsistent Vid Quality/Formats, Many w/ Clips Only or Low Specs.
This is where the age of the network really shows. Depending on the site or episode you're looking at the video quality and options really vary tremendously. Some movies on sites like Sweet Loads, Athens Girls, or others have below average or downright low video specs. Also, some of the shoots with the newer formats don't have the full-movie file downloads but only have clips. Sometimes full-files are on the Flash streaming so the inconsistency is frustrating and does diminish the value of the overall collection.
Some Sites Only Have Old Material, Tough to Track/Locate Updates.
It is difficult to locate update details from site to site as they don't date-stamp the episodes on most of the sites. A network log seems to show that they're focusing on updating just a few sites. Some of the sites are no longer active with content that feels out of date or is from the early 2000's. The inconsistency here is similar to the variation that is seen in the video formatting.
Mixed Bag of Content, Unusual Mix of Extreme, Fetish, & Hardcore.
While the extreme and fetish concepts do give this network character I can also see how some fans of certain fetishes might not be interested in others. Peeing, gagging, fisting, fetish, and other included niches have different audiences so that's something to pay attention to.
Minor Negatives:
Navigation seemed to really slow down or stop when in the middle of downloading a video (using IE browser).
Download manager use may be limited to 1-channel and roughly the same speed as browser downloads (test software: IDM).
The monthly rate here is higher than typical for a paysite.
Bottom Line
This network has a unique mix of hardcore, extreme, & fetish sites with a mix of new & old material.
Sweet Members really does have a different feel to it then some of the flashy newer reality networks. What's different is the focus on extreme sex and fetish action plus the fact that the episodes are a mixture of new content and shoots from years back. The network value does stem for the original mix of specialty content but it also is a mixture that might now appeal to some surfers. The one real thing that holds the site back is the inconsistent movie options and the significant drop off in quality and options on the older shoots which make up a lot of the content.
