Sweet Apples calls itself "the largest original webcam supersite on the net", a very impressive claim! Right off the bat they promise the largest collection of girls with over 1 million webcam shots. When I heard it was a webcam site, I immediately assumed they were talking about live webcams, a la IFriends. That is not the case, however. Sweet Apples instead features recorded webcam shows. That's a different niche altogether that we haven't explored much.
Jumping right into the videos, you'll find that there are two sections of clips. The first is Exclusive Webcam Videos where you'll find 272 clips of cute young amateurs stripping for their webcams, updated weekly. The second is Exclusive Digital Videos which offers 52 clips that were actually shot by a video camera, still featuring the same sweet young things. As you'd expect on an amateur site that relies on webcams for recording purposes, quality isn't the best. Most of the clips play at 250k in Windows Media. Some look better than others and, on the whole, I will say that these scenes look better than most of the live webcams out there since you don't have to wait for buffering or anything. Still, quality is probably the weak point of this site.
There's also a collection of "pictures" but in this case they're just vidcaps. There are two sections of vidcaps from a couple of girls who regularly submit them along with a collection of 200 or so girls with single sets. They're vidcaps. What can I say? They're small at 320x240 and a lot of the time the girl's head is cut off. Ok ok, they're not that bad but they're a long way from the photos we're used to seeing on even the most amateur of amateur sites.
Despite my complaints, there was a lot I liked about Sweet Apples. The girls are all very cute. There's also something very sexy about the fact that these girls essentially filmed themselves for the site. On most multi-girl amateur sites the girls aren't that involved. I did miss having model info, though. All we're given is a name. No word on who the babe is anything else. That's a shame since it's personality like that that makes an amateur site interesting. Also keep in mind that the site is almost entirely softcore. The stripteases can get a little repetitive.
Sweet Apples is indeed a different site from what we usually look at. Though the quality isn't the best, I give them credit for maintaining and regularly updating such a large collection of exclusive content. Glamour fans should keep moving but amateur and webcam lovers might want to at least give Sweet Apples a try. You might find the authenticity a tasty treat.

It's been two years since our last look at Sweet Apples and it was hard to know where to begin on a site as packed with content as this. The number of videos has grown to over 420, thanks to consistent updates. The big improvement that I was surprised to find was the addition of an actual photo section. There are now over 60 galleries of digital photos. The pictures are all submitted by their webcam girls and most of the galleries really looked quite nice. They're a huge upgrade over the camgrabs. I'd still like to see more model information and more browse features, but this was a step in the right direction.
Score increased from 75.5 to 76.5.
