Intro

Swank Magazine is up for review today, and this one brings back memories of hoping to find something like this when I was younger. Their online site provides some exclusive content in a pretty wide variety of material, though it all stays pretty generic (solo, lesbian, hardcore, threesomes, etc.). The size of the site, plus the couple years of magazine archives they have is what sets them apart. A special discounted price of just $20 a month gets you in the door, plus access to their whole network of 20 sites.

The Pros

Lots of content up.

The site of the site is definitely a big deal here. There are over 1,200 galleries, and over 500 videos, all of exclusive content. That's a lot of material to go through, and they offer the network access as well for even more content.

In case Swank Magazine isn't enough for you, there's other magazines and sites of theirs included here. 20 more sites are free with your membership, which makes for some great bonus content.

Other Good Stuff:

I'd guess that their content is exclusive here. I know they shot it themselves, and hopefully the only other place it could be listed would be in a magazine of theirs.
Updates still come weekly here at least, with new material still coming regularly.
The magazine archives are cool to have. I'm not sure why the collection is on the small side, but at least you can go through a couple years of archives.

The Cons

Site layout is all wrong for them.

This setup just doesn't work for a magazine site. They're using a generic set of scripts for adult paysites that don't feature their magazine material enough in my opinion. I'd love to see them go fully custom to lay things out a little better.

Average quality at best.

The quality here is okay for the newer stuff, especially the photos, but gets worse with time of course. However, even the newer stuff could be bumped up a little in terms of quality, just to keep up with the competition.

Minor Negatives:

While the content can be fun, it's also a little on the generic side. Some of it seems older, and they don't go too crazy with unique ideas.
The magazine archives are smaller than I would have expected them to be. Maybe they only were able to digitize the more recent ones. But then again, where are the issues from the last year then?

Bottom Line

Just an okay collection overall with some older content, not the right options, but lots to see.

Swank Magazine does well in offering lots of content, all of which seems to be exclusive, and still consistent updates today. However, the site never really worked for me. The whole programming setup and site layout is just wrong, in my opinion, for a magazine site. I'd like more focus on the magazine and extras, as well as a better content search option considering how much material they have. As for the content, it's a bit on the generic side these days, considering the wide breadth of content you can get online. I'd love better quality as well, especially for the newest stuff. Overall, there's a lot to see, and the network access is good, but I feel it's a little bland in the end, and that they could do more with what they have.
