PROS:

"Sunny strength is her picture collection and weakness is member interaction."
Sunny Leone is one hot babe but I guess that goes without saying since she was a Pet of the Year. Official pornstar and pro model sites are always a bit different than regular porn sites. In addition to looking as the basics like design and content I like to analyze them to see if they give true fans something extra that can't be experienced in their movie and print media.

The Goods:

- Solid Picture Collection. The real strength here is the mix of studio, amateur, and real-life galleries. The specific categories are Glamour, Amateur, and Candids and most impressively are the large number of galleries in the candids collection. These show her trips, parties, with friends, appearances, and are generally a personal scrapbook. It's a good balance to the nude and sexy shoots in the Glamour and Amateur sections.

- Nice Site Design. The site layout and design looks quite professional which is important for a beauty like Sunny. Not only does it look sharp on the surface but I found it to have user-friendly navigation too.

The Bads:

- Weak Member Interaction. Sunny seems to struggle to keep the member interaction features up to date. There's no webcam show schedule, right now that section just links over to Camz.com. The news and appearance stuff is also out of date as of this review.

- Varying Content Quality. This holds true for both pictures and videos. Some look great and sharp and other stuff is below average. It's definitely hit-and-miss depending on which gallery or video you happen to select.

Conclusion:

Sunny has a good foundation for an official site but to really have a strong one it's necessary to give her members (i.e. fans) a chance to interact with her regularly. Gaps in the news and appearances section make it seem like this stuff is updated only when she gets a spare minute. Basically her picture galleries and videos are strength and then the site stumbles after that.


1st Follow-Up Review Review: 12-22-06

In taking another look around Sunny's site I see she's continued to build the picture and video collection with regular updates. The only exception to that would be her amateur image section which remains small and has gone months without any new galleries. Her Live Show and Appearance info is closer to up-to-date than it was with current month apperarances although there still isn't the lead time for future events that I'd like to see.

Score increased from 75.0 to 76.5.
