I'm actually really surprised we haven't reviewed this site yet; SuicideGirls.com was a phenomenon in it's time, you know, way back in the early days of Internet porn. And still going strong the site (at least the tour) looks better than ever for me! Currently with over 1,023+ SuicideGirls, 100,000+ images and 72+ video clips, Suicide Girls also offers a plethora of articles, girls' journals, message boards, chats, personals and more. If it's the alternative look you like in a girl, or just want your porn with some attitude, look no further than this site. For only $12 bucks per month (or even better, $24 for 3 months or $48 for a whole year!) you can become part of a Mecca that has access to interviewed from the likes of Bill Murray, Sarah Jessica Parker, Woody Allen, The White Stripes, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Motorhead and more; surely something can't be right here?
The Good:
- What you see is what you get! That's right, design of the tour carries over into the member's area and while there's so much information here it may at first be a daunting task to tackle, digging right in is what I suggest for this megasite. All member's are offered the chance to create a profile, edit their preferences and more. From things like site viewing modes, message alerts, time zones, etc. The best way I found to view the content itself was by girl, then either by most recent, name (alphabetically), or by location (which is nice if the thought of someone nearby, or far away and exotic for that matter, strikes your fancy). A search feature also makes getting around the site easier.
- This is a community! A community of "SuicideGirls" who write in journals, post pics & comments, join groups and stage events so it's no wonder they add the needed option of being able to browse the girls by location. This site offers members a great chance to actually get to know and interact with its models. Not so much a porno site per se, but more along the lines of a community full of beautiful and artistic creatures who aren't ashamed in showing off their body’s' and the pleasures abound.
- These aren’t' t just your average girls here either. And while you'll find some very classically beautiful women, you'll also find a more alternative beauty; one that is brought out by interesting camera angles and a real sense of alternative fashion, colorful tattoos, hair styles, artistic photo shoots and more.
- There's always something new to check out here. Something new being added, songs to listen to, articles and interviews to read, people to interact to. You'll never find yourself bored and alone - I promise.
- Did I mention the price yet? Oh yes, it's cheap.
The Bad:
- I guess, as with any site, there is always something to bitch about. For me, here, the biggest complaint I could have would have to be with the range in the quality of the content as well as with the rather average sizing to the images. And the videos especially could stand to be brought up a couple of notches in that department.
- Some download options for the content would be nice as well; zip file downloads for the images, better browsing/download options for the videos, etc.
The Conclusion:
If you have any interest at all - join! It's rather cheap for the site that it is, offers one-of-a-kind, amazing content that is surly not found elsewhere and in such bounty elsewhere on the Net. This is an actual community with so much more to do than just look at the content - get involved, add your own, meet new people, have some fun! This isn't your run of the mill porn site so don't be expecting that from the content either. Check it out, though, you might find yourself intrigued by the phenomena that is widely copied but never fully reproduced known as the SuicideGirls.com!
