Intro

Street Hood World is up for review today, and this site features amateur black couples getting it on in unscripted hardcore action. They don't go too crazy beyond that, but they keep things simple with pretty straightforward scenes. They do also feature live weekly hardcore shows, also unscripted, to you let you catch a glimpse of these couples doing their thing live on camera. $26 a month gets you inside, which isn't too bad either way I guess (though I'd love to see that price drop even lower of course).

The Pros

Seems to be exclusive hardcore black content.

They don't mention exclusivity much here, but I'd have to guess that the content is exclusive. They find regular people and have them hookup on camera. This is definitely more of an amateur sex site compared to production porn companies.

Live shows available.

One of the big things they like to promote here are the live shows they have weekly. Instead of just a girl posing, stripping, and playing, it looks like they offer full hardcore sex on the shows. They're unscripted, so you get a great glimpse at some real sex occurring in real-time with real people.

Other Good Stuff:

The size of the site isn't bad here. They could still use some growth, but at least there are around 140 videos up currently, which is a good start.

The Cons

Many videos can't be downloaded

I don't know what the percentage is overall, but I think at least 75% of the videos here are streaming only from what I'm seeing. Some offer a download link below the Flash player, but most of them do not.

Updates are a little random/slow at times (especially photos).

This past week or so, they posted a note on why there are no updates (they're out of the country shooting some material). That's not a great excuse in my opinion, but at least there's a reason. Otherwise, updates don't seem to be on any set schedule, and may be much quicker, or a bit slower, than weekly.

Minor Negatives:

Both the design and navigation on the site here leave a bit to be desired. I'd love to see more personality in the design, plus some navigation options such as some tags/categories, or an advanced search feature. Even a models index would help.
The quality here is pretty average at best. I guess the videos don't look terrible, but I think they could bump the quality up a bit to compete better.
A lot of the photo galleries offer vidcaps only, and not real photos.
There are hardly any photo galleries here at all, especially in comparison to the number of videos they offer.
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.

The other

As I mentioned, the content is pretty amateur in nature here. There are no pornstars, so the sex should feel a bit more raw and less scripted. That also means that you see more condoms than you usually do - people gotta play safe!

Bottom Line

A simple, plain site that offers up decent content and live shows, but not many frills.

Come to Street Hood World for the content itself, and you'll be just fine. It's a very plain site overall, without many options or features to speak of. They instead focus on the content and couples here and getting raw sex action. I'd love a prettier site, with more navigation features, and I'd also love to see downloads added to all videos (even more, I'd love to see more than just WMV offered for those). Updates are a little hit and miss, but hopefully those can get more consistent once they're back from their trip. Overall, it's not bad with some fun content, they just won't win any awards for site design and features.
